definitely her, wonder if Lucia will also be there that is if Capcom acknowledges DMC2 which the interviews don't seem to.I guess we could see Kyrie
"I just hope they don't decline it by adding spammable invulnerability dodges that barely require any skill to use or by making the enemies too non-threatening."Very excited for this and from the few gameplay tidbits they showed it looks like the combat will be fun. I just hope they don't decline it by adding spammable invulnerability dodges that barely require any skill to use or by making the enemies too non-threatening.
Also, I hate Nero's character as much as the next guy, but I really enjoyed his gameplay style in DMC4. I think the demon hand is one of the best implementations of QTE (if you can call it that) in action games, in that it is completely optional and there are no big UI popups saying "PRESS X, RETARD" whenever you can use it so it's up to you to figure out when you can, like for example, catching the paladin guy's spears or stopping the statue boss's punch. I'm glad to see this mechanic make a comeback in this game.

That's like every DMC game buddy.
DMC doesn't even have a dodge button unless you use a specific style. Only weaker enemies we're "non-threatening"That's like every DMC game buddy.
It's only after DMC4, which could also mean after DMC2 but that's assuming Capcom even brings up DMC2.Why would she? Dante meets her for the first time in DMC2 and this is pre DMC2.

Motorcyle as weapon!
I hated the QTE's since I complained about them in the Bayonetta thread, they literally came out of nowhere but in hindsight I should've expected it bing a Platinum game after all. The turret section, wasn't a fan either. The flying sections I actually liked.sullynathan In Bayo most of these things are annoying at best. How do you like turret section which has inverted horizontal turn but not vertical one, flying section where you really cant see where you need to shoot and very precises instant death qtes. Second Bayo fixed that a bit by not focusing on these minigames that much and making them bit more easy with better controls. Still I think bit of quiet time and exploration for extras and secret missions is enough break from combat. DmC tried more platforming but it was so easy it could be not even there.
I didn't even like the new Lady. How do you go from the goth-punk look in 3 to that generic babe?
Nico aint Lady... Now I just wonder how other supporting characters from previous games could look in new engine. I guess we could see Kyrie and maybe Trish?
But she had bigger tits in 4.shorts instead of skirt, shades and no shades. Wow, so different.
Jumping has iframes and it can be immediately followed by an attack or a double jump.I don't remember any invulnerability dodges in DMC 3 & 4. There was a double jump and an air dash and a few other moves that changed your position, but neither of them actually made you immune to damage, just changed your position, so if you collide with something that does damage you still take damage.
90% of enemies are non-threatening. They are passive, HP bloated and only exist to be combo'ed by the player.DMC doesn't even have a dodge button unless you use a specific style. Only weaker enemies we're "non-threatening"
The reason why they seem/are passive is because on lower difficulties lesser enemies are programmed to taunt the player and not be aggressive. When you up the difficulty lesser enemies stop standing around and are far more aggressive and the more powerful and more aggressive enemies start appearing far earlier in the game and also get more aggressive in combat.90% of enemies are non-threatening. They are passive, HP bloated and only exist to be combo'ed by the player.
