No, your question is just so dumb nobody wanted to answer.
The original pitch for Arkane Studios' Dishonored was simply "ninjas"
Or you could just check the game's wiki.When you looked at characters in Dishonored, and settings, a lot of these are familiar from 19 century.
So who, or a character from what book, was an inspiration for these characters?
I knew this should be in properly named thread, instead of moved by mod into general Dishonored thread. Majority of posters looked at this thread already, and it's basically a separate discussion anyway.
I never knew you are aliterate. I seen references to Dickens? , and because my knowledge of 19 century english writers is bit fuzzy, I asked here. A lot of english users should have massively fresher knowledge of English early industrial literature.No, your question is just so dumb nobody wanted to answer.

I liked Dishonored but now I've found much more fun sneaking&killing game - Mark of the Ninja! Do yourselves a favor and play it.
Overseers = the Builders
I completely forgot the mechanists, maybe, because I like Thief 1 plot more than Thief 2.Overseers = the Builders
Mechanists is the word you're looking for. There's Hammerites and Mechanists in Thief, the Builder is their god, and the Overseers have a distinct Mechanist vibe. Especially those masks they wear.
Obviously to something much higher like 40 or so. Dunno if it counts rat bodies as bodies, or if it removes rat bodies first (it should). It will slow down things, but as long as you have fast CPU, preferably overclocked, it will make no difference on speed.m_CorpseAbsoluteMaximumCount=10
m_CorpseIdealMaximumCount=5
So, I've just started playing the game yesterday on very hard and sneaking has been very easy. I'm not that far into the game, does it get challenging further ahead ? Does the difficulty setting affect anything except combat ?
i can name and humm every song from chrono cross: that's what i call an excellent soundtrack, not a bunch of sounds made for not being heard.after a couple of hours of playing you stop noticing it altogether as it seamlessly meshes with what surrounds you - which is actually a large achievement.
