Doesn't matter. More sales is more sales. And, D;OS has the bonus of being a game in a series that has been able to sell million+ copies. For all we know, all the people who bought D:OS are just repeat customers of DD. Yet, people make a big deal about. DD sold a mil+ copies so D:OS should be able to do the same within the first week because we all know Larian is so awesome that everyone loves their games and scoops them up.

So.. why has DOS onyl sold 250k and not a mil+?
Now you're just being retarded. Which is to say, you're being yourself.

People, if you react because a person makes a smart remark, then it is ok. But if react towards a really plain stupid argument or remark, then it makes also you look bad. And the last remarks of Volourn was such an argument.

1mil + > 250k I'm talking popularity not how much money made. That's irrelevant.

It's relevant because you're as retarded there as Volourn is here. My hope is that you'll have some sort of epiphany when faced with a mirror of yourself.

Nah, Larian just didn't waste money on a documentary that only served to document how incompetent DF was.

I thought they did have videos of the development process?
Developer's Cut Digital (Documents and Videos) ==============================
A digital version of all the behind the scenes materials such as concept art, design documents, in-house videos, presentations etc… This will give you a unique insight in how the game came to be.
I imagine those are buried somewhere in the folder.

Lessee..
IIRC, Both DivOS and BA budgets were about 3 Mill.
DivOS got a third of it from the KS. BA got all of it from there.

DF spent a third of the budget on unrelated bullshit and ended up with a mediocre product. They spent too much of it on the docu, developing the in-house engine (SO FUCKING STUPID), and physical gifts.
Larian definitely used it better.

DOS only had 3 million? I remember more, but whatever. Although we are talking about euros vs dollar here, becuse Larian always talked about euros when talking about the full budget.

True, but the documentary was in the package from the beginning, and it alone worth the price of admission. Also, DOS had more expensive physical gifts.

Pretty sure D:OS has a bigger budget than BA. Better management also, true.
wasn't kickstarter 1/3rd of total funds? i vaguely recall something to that effect... that would put it on equal budget as ba before df's likely usage of the other project funds for ba.

Broken Age also sucked up a lot more money than the Kickstarter. Pretty much all their profits from anything went towards Broken Age as well.

First Swen said "4 million euros" then he said "3 million" but 4 million is probably closer to the actual value and even then they're doing some creative accounting by off-setting the cost of the engine on Dragon Commander.
