Is there a chance You guys will be able to make some rudimentary system that will allow tu upgrade the PayPal pledge? For example "donate any amount" button. You could then link all donations from the same email accounts and allow to choose a higher reward tier/add-ons based on that.
I just might be able to get some extra funds before May 10th and that $150 tier is looking sweeter and sweeter by the minute, but I'm stuck at $95.

And, before you go full apologist, no, I don't believe Day/Night cycle with all the visual effects and varied lighting can be realistically done by a modder, although, I've no idea just how powerful the editor is.

The editor is the same they are using to create the game, so should be powerful enough..

It'll be closer, they're just under 900k as it is, possible even at it as PP hasn't been updated in nearly a day. While I think they won't hit the 1 million in the last rush they'll get close so if we add watch/codex as well it'll hopefully be doable with the 2 weeks post KS . Shame we can't adjust pledges via pay pal, would love to add 5 bucks for DD: HD for example.

By the end of the day, we might see $950k all combined. Two more weeks of PayPal, and we just might get to a million. And even if not, could Larian try to get the goal into game even with $950k+? Will they just forget about it if lets say $20k is missing?

I am sad about the weather and day/night cycles, but holy shit I am so excited about what they WERE able to do. Oh my god man I am a serious fucking fanboy of these guys and I am not kidding when I say that Original Sin might end up being the GREATEST RPG OF ALL TIME. I know that is hoping for a lot, but holy shit they are doing everything right and it is just beautiful oh my god I am going to marry everyone--especially Swen.

Seriously, though, I don't think I've ever been this excited about a game.

Next time Larian are at Kickstarter, they should really make sure they pick a better time, especially seeing the enormous amount of hype just showing off an alpha of their game has caused. Who knows how many millions they'll be able to collect with this campaign's experience!

Even adding PayPal and fundraisers, it's still a long way to go to $1M, especially that Larian in the will receive only about 85% of the final amount (5% goes to KS, 5% goes to Amazon, 3-5% transactions are never completed).

I'd rather Larian did not spread themselves too thin and try to implement the final stretch goal despite not having enough money. That's a recipe for disaster.

But if Dragon Commander sells fuckloads and brings them some nice $$$, they could reconsider.

No way it'll end closer to 900k as that is what we're at now with over 8 hours left (and that's nto includign watch/codex) so I suspect the end'll be closer to 950k, possible even a bit higher so I think we'll be fairly close to 1kk at the end.

Larian may have not started this KS at the best time, but god DAMN they gave a tremendous effort to get it to this point. 30 days, 30 updates full of laughs, videos, and Swen. Giving interviews to every hole in the internet. Playing that goddamned beach section over and over again.
