Fucking amazing. When their Kickstarter emerged, I pitied them for the shitty timing and thought that it would never reach a single stretch goal and barely make it to the funding goal.

I'm afraid all these new let's plays due to be coming out are too close to the deadline to do much good.

I hope Larian adds the unobtainable stretch goals anyway, it can only make the game better in the long run which (might) equate to more sales when they release. That's a risk they have to take upon themselves, unfortunately.

944,282 $ so close, will we have the daily schedules in ? Ah one or two week more and we could have made it. Blame the watch for that horrible crime! Never forget !

Who is this guy?

Keyboard fell seconds after this moment. He must be the culprit.

If you want to know, that guy is called Tristan. He is our lead artist. He's insane but he's fucking great. He used to work at Larian 11 years ago, then moved to Canada, worked on ME, we're still laughing at himn for that.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Still, we got lucky this way, and in the decade or so that passed since LMK was cancelled, I’ve seen too many fellow studio founders who didn’t have such luck. When their games were cancelled for lack of funding, that usually meant the end of the road for them. Too often this also involved personal drama, as a lot of these guys often put all of their savings into these ventures. I did the same and I regularly thank lady fortune for steering me away from many potential personal ruin situations.

Reading Sven's blog from a perspective of time, and knowing that he risked with his own money with keeping alive Larian deserves a recognition. The game looks awesome, but I didn't watched too much. I don't want to spoil my co-op playthrough. I was a bit skeptical about Dragon Commander but Gragt preview convinced me enough. And they have Arokh on their forums posting, so it's a good sign ;) . Good luck to Kirill (been listening to DD OST many times, "Roads Shaded by Green Eaves",), I couldn't imagine Larian games without his music. And Forktong has really good voice, he doesn't sound like someone grabbed him by the balls and forced to sing (unlike many heavy/power vocalists tend to do).

TL, DR version - good job on making through the whole KS, hard work paid off; you deserve it.

So is he the one if I want to tell someone to stop with huge shoulder pads already?
