NPC schedules are gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay-as-a-pejorative. I hope it blows up in their faces.

Go bake some bread, Roguey

It seems this was an epic and unforgettable extravaganza of incline. Unfortunately, I was not here to witness it. :(

I love you Larian, turn-based Ultima VII sounds like the ultimate RPG to me and everything about this game looks amazing.

I hope Sawyer includes them in P:E.
That would be a pretty tall order for an all-the-IE-games combined project. The NWNs didn't have them either, so I doubt anyone's expecting them.

Also calling it now, the the 10 level megadungeon is going to be filled with 1000 skeletons. And maybe some mine dropping undead, scorpions, and bats. But mostly skeletons.

Yeah, personally I'm more interested in seeing how much new assets (art, effects, et cetera) the $ generates as someone who is all about the level editor, as opposed to things like content for the main campaign that is simply level design/scripting. Also very curious to know whether things like the day/night cycle stretch goal are simply going to be scripted specifically for the campaign, or implemented in a way that it can be ported over to new mods easily.

Previous call made by Roguey on DOS (an, er, 3 level dungeon):

I love the "for ever x backers we add a level to a dungeon" thingy. It's been way too long since I played through an epic dungeon. Every RPG should have one.
You're not going to get one here though. They'll be lucky to get more than three.

No, David said something that they could do a day/night and schedule system via scripting (but would take far too much time), but wanted to make it an actual in game System.

That sounds hugely promising, then! That was obviously my preference, but I didn't expect them to go that route at all, was expecting at best some form of scripted solution that could be hooked into modules (ala NWN's waypoint-patrol scripts for NPCs).

I couldn't care less either way about schedules honestly, I'm just glad they reached 1 mil after the panic of the first day or two.

I suppose it wouldn't be fair if I hadn't made one for ForkTong for his fabulous show he gave with Kirill, and for spending time here

Like any good religion, the position of the loyal opposition is important.
I dub thee the angel of darkness of Larianism Roguey.
The fallen will soon follow you into hell (general discussion) exiled from general rpgd as soon as Dragon commander comes out.

Everybody on the codex is a target for spite. You're not special.
I think it is funnier when they prove you wrong without caring one whiff about your opinion. ;)

Oh, I'm sorry, who was it who motivated Vincke to write a blog about how Larian isn't running out of money? Who was actually namedropped on that blog in a later post? Who had a Larian-criticizing post screencapped in that Matt Chat video?

Not youse.

BTW, i have to eat crow a little; they did get to one million -some% on one day. Impressive PR push... but of course it should have been planned earlier.
It remains to be seen how much will it help though :P

Meh Roguey is just the new Skyway. Boring. We already have Skyway.

In all fairness tho, Roguey has a better grasp of grammar. Skyway's posts are often full of run-on sentences or other grammatical mistakes that detract from the ... uhh... quality of his posts.

Roguey should just forget about his opinions and presume the role of a bot that's always there to present a somewhat relevant quote on whatever's being discussed. I'm sure he'd work for cookies.

Yet I somehow doubt Swen wakes up every day thinking about how best to spite you. You are just a funny window dressing.

EDIT: FFS I swore I would stop falling for this.

Skyway is actually semi-hopeful about Divinity: OS though. Someone was needed to fill the gap.
