Yo, ForkTong

I'll understand if you can't answer this, but can you tell us what D:OS's total budget is? I'm assuming it's rather larger than the budget of other Kickstarter games, since you had to create your own engine from scratch?

Who is this guy?

Keyboard fell seconds after this moment. He must be the culprit.

If you want to know, that guy is called Tristan. He is our lead artist. He's insane but he's fucking great. He used to work at Larian 11 years ago, then moved to Canada, worked on ME, we're still laughing at himn for that.
So he is my guildsmate's brother!

Thanks for the picture, emailin'

I must say it now, David really reminds me of a man named Frédéric Desager, an actor in Quebec who is also from Belgium.

I can't find very good pictures but other ones are more closer in appearance, along with his original "demented" hair style and sassy attitude.

This is just a trick. We will tear your game down after release if it doesn't meet our expectations. And our expectations are sky high. :troll:

Even were it close to perfection, this being the Codex there would be people shitting all over it regardless. I mean, Roguey hates everything, so that literally makes it impossible to have a game that is universally loved by the Codex.

Great news :)

Congrats to the guys at Larian. Even though I couldn't follow the campaign that much (I'm writing my dissertation, takes way too much time), the rather chaotic course of events was fun to read and watch. I'm looking forward to the complete game and Dragon Commander!

When KS delivered Wasteland 2 and Project: Eternity, it was like a glass of cold water after wandering for years in the desert of decline. But Larian's Kickstarter has been more like a bracing shot of single malt thanks to its humorous and frequent updates, community involvement, refreshing honesty about AAA RPGs, great live events with Kirill etc., repeated demonstrations of their game even in its pre-alpha state and in general a level of transparency about their game and what they stand for, which is risky and also rare.
Let me count the ways I:love:Larian now. I wish I had some money to give Larian during their Kickstarter, but when I do, Day 1 pur preordering Dragon Commander and Original Sin.

NPC schedules are gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay-as-a-pejorative. I hope it blows up in their faces.
