And their DRM-less-ness puts them over 9000 levels above steam.

But how will you be able to act insufferably smugly by showing off you game collection and time spent playing without Steam? Eh? EH?

I bet Swen comes here only for /gd/ that's why you don't see him post much in gaming forums :rpgcodex:

Swen does post here occasionally, such as on the news thread to explain the early launch of the Divinity OS kickstarter.

Sven has an account here, he's just not very active. Probably just browses the forum for reactions.

Wouldn't surprise me if Sven and many other devs come here using alts and VPNs.
Josh Sawyer actually is Roguey. Trolling helps him blow off steam.

Codex is above the Watch, finally! (but only in number of pledges)
Wait, what? Where is this information? If there's a Codex VS Watch pissing contest I want to at least see it!
In bro Swen's blog:

Also, note that his mailbox got 1k more unread messages since Saturday. :P

A lot of prestigious codexers have referrer headers disabled after the icecube frog incident that ravaged the Let's Plays. We're probably responsible for a not inconsiderable share of the direct traffic entry.

I am not using the referer either, and just raised my pledge , just for the sake of supporting the local industry ! I think the amount of money brought by codexers is greatly underestimated as not only we dont use links and referes but we also type urls directly(unbelievable!) and use search engine...Theres way more traffic here than on the watch , forums there are almost dead.

So, I understand ForkTong is with Larian?
I have some question, then;

1. Bit of a silly question, but will there be keyboard movement controls?

2. What do the "personality" stats like contempt, compassion change?

1. Not at the moment, but it's not hard to do. Seems weird though. Who'd want to play an isometric party game with WASD?
2. Will be addressed in one of the following updates. Your RPGCodex emissary had a great idea, for instance.

I played Civ2 primarily with the numpad :obviously:

And I played early FPS games without a mouse. Still FPS games and Civ2 are not isometric party based RPGs. It's doable, but not in tb combat. And you're still gonna have to grab a mouse to interact with items and the lot. Unless you want to "highlight" first and press a button. Smells like a controller to me.

I said primarily, not entirely ;)

To be honest, I'd rather WASD map to moving the camera than characters. that still leaves the numpad free

Yup, WASD is used to move the camera in an isometric game.

Arrows keys move the camera. Can be easily mapped to WASD. (Before you ask: yes to shroud and fog of war.)

Neverwinter nights 2 had WASD movement. Seemed kind of unnecessary but I'm sure someone got a kick out of it.
