WSAD (a curiosity: it's always WSAD not WASD here in Poland, as it is a word which means SLAM DUNK) movement helps when You want to hover the cursor over some objects and keep moving at the same moment. Saves a little time, so it could be a nice option to have. Camera movement on arrow keys is good.

Neverwinter nights 2 had WASD movement. Seemed kind of unnecessary but I'm sure someone got a kick out of it.
NWN2 had that "park the camere behind your ass to simulate 3rd person view" thing going.

Can't you fuck up at least a little? This unprecedented incline is scaring me.

WASD DLC

:troll:
Not even a key mapping DLC? Truly evil! You have to buy every key binding separately.

Don't tell Gearbox.

Whole keyboard binding season pass incoming

I'm a bit late to the party, but I couldn't use 'being destitute' as an excuse any longer after the recent updates. I'm in for a boxed copy. It looks great and I hope Larian can keep generating buzz and funding.

To further clarify: there were to be four story DLCs for Borderlands 2 (three of them are already out) and you could buy the whole season pass including all those four DLCs for the price of three (or something close to that price). Of course this did not include any of the small skin DLCs, nor the Mechromancer Class, which you had to buy separately (their defense is that the class was used as a pre-order bonus and it would be unfair yadda yadda). Turns out though that there might be a Second Season of DLC coming (they probably need some cash injection after the A:CM fiasco). Funny thing, the promised patch that would change the level cap from 50 to something higher is to be part of the second season. Maximum Jewry.

Fuck, I hate what this industry has become so much.

EDIT: ForkTong, it is You in this video, or am I wrong?

Beating The System
Update #6 · Apr 4, 2013 · comment

Surprise! You're dead.

Designers have a tough job. You'd think it's all fun and games for them, but they actually have the toughest job of us all. When coming up with quests, and scripting them, they constantly have to think about the logic, approach it from different angles, and how players could break those quests. When you've got an open world where you're very free to do as you please, which has got teleporter pyramids and systemic behaviour, nothing seems certain.

The following is a re-enactment of something we found out by accident. In hindsight, it was predictable, but surprising nonetheless. It takes longer to explain than to watch it, so enjoy the video :)

Edit: Luring monsters into town.

To correct something, the level increase from 50 to 61 is included with the first season pass.

*off topic*

Realize I'm still pretty new here but what's with the antisemitism on this site? I notice it sprinkled here and there...is this just something that's made in jest or is the codex just friendly towards that type of stuff?

*also an edit :) *

The new update video is awesome...awesome to see systems in place that can be exploited and where players can get very creative with solutions to problems.

That's a new development for me, last I heard it was supposed to be an incentive to buy into the second season. (better incentive would be to stop outsourcing the dlc to minimize the shittiness)

It's all Infinitron's fault. Him and his brofist hoarding.

Now to get this show on topic:
That wasn't such a horrible game breaking in the video - luring a beast to distract another faction is a trick I remember pulling in other games.

It's included for sure:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/224200/

"The Ultimate Pack is part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass"

Anyways the new mode is pretty awesome for anyone who enjoyed BL2. They added some great items and the new difficulty is pretty crazy.

Obviously, everything on the Codex is serious business. I'm amazed I've managed to avoid the extermination squads this long.

Yeah, I myself am only beginning to see the true face of the Codex. Consult evdk's signature for more information.

Well, guess I just never really seen it used so casually. Well, maybe on other sites like Reddit and stuff, not from a gaming forum.

Maybe, but people don't seem to realize what we mean by "systems/systemics", factions, faction relationships, dynamic factions...

Story behind the video:
Couple of months ago, I had taken a build home to try out some stuff. I went to that beach and tried fighting the orcs. With me were two soldiers (not party members, AI characters of a faction that is hostile towards orcs). I was going to die, so I clicked the flee button.

Now when you flee, only your party flees, so the AI soldiers were still in TB combat.

I went back to the harbour, and one of the soldiers had a bow, and he kept taking a distance from the orcs. This way, he lured the orcs into the harbour. By the time I was back at the harbour, the orcs had killed a couple of villagers, and the soldiers from the warehouse (where all the loot is) had joined the fight...

It was the first time I saw all the systems at work, and it was beautiful :')
