Assassin's Creed II. A game that rewards twitch-skills in good players (difficult chase challenges) yet is designed to be winnable even by morons but they just won't be able to unlock some major story elements like the death of your beloved. I've always found it intriguing when game design is such that the better you are, the more things there are that become available. AC II was the first game I played where I noticed this and did it in a dramatic way..
