It is true that they don't work on Golems, as they are Mindless?

Magic duel is:

Basic level (items and power up spell do not count) +1d6 vs basic level +1d6. Bigger number wins. Parity is death for both. 100 precision, no save.

Awesome spell against Astral SCs and Mages.

Yes, golems are immune unless they cast duel, then it can kill them apparently (never checked in real game as there is no reason to duel anyone with golems).

Care to explain what the fuck actually happened there? I moved my units from one allied province to another. Yet somehow, your mutha attacked it before my forces got there. Pwnd PD first, and batmen later, in a separate fight.

Maybe I'm gone senile, but I'm pretty sure that's impossible, even if your guy was hiding in that province last turn.

On an unrelated note I now have a sidhe lord with 32 def due to his heroic ability. I think with a few more defense boosting items he could feasibly have enough defense to actually be able to fight 6 squares full of bats each turn and still have over 20 defense. Needs further testing.

How we will pick:

Step 1: 2 Teams will coalesce from ten players, 5 in each. I hope we will be able to do that without my paternal guidance. The team chose who will play their pretender themselves.

Step 2: The picking. The two teams go through phases of banning nations from the pool and picking nations for their team. Valid Bans and Picks are announced by the pretenders in this thread. After all 10 nations have been selected, each player picks their nation from the 5 their pretender has chosen.

Order is as follow:
Ban Phase 1: Team 1, Team 2, Team 1, Team 2
Pick Phase 1: Team 1, Team 2, Team 2, Team 1
