PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
After this TI, I'd be surprised if Icefraud doesn't rework illusions to do even less damage to structures - at the very least SD illusions.

Siege, something that should be exciting and a war of attrition, is made boring by just throwing SD illusions at the defenses mindlessly. This actually goes for all illusions, but especially SD ones because they are too strong.

Only SD illusions are semi broken. 66% of the hp of the target is so stupid. Those illusions have more hp combined than the target. Disruption is already one of the best defensive spells in the game. Touching all illusions would make illusion based heroes even more irrelevant. I expect a nerf to the duration of SD illusions.

if axe is nerfed, I think it will be to the armor bonus on call. That would alleviate the boring low-commitment high ground defense that Eg used.

Purge is no Janko though.

Also whomever wins TI it will not be representative of the year's best teams.CS with the majors only makes for better representation of who were best teams at the times. If you got bad/good 1 month decides all.You look at this TI and would never guessed that OG,MVP and Liquid were best teams overall.

The "best team" is the one that doesn't buckle under pressure and adapt through several series in a tournament. The International is the only thing that matters amd pros treat the last 11 months as practice.

THe fuck was that draft from EG?
It was a non specific draft I guess? Like it is not a draft intentionally picked to counter DC's play.
On paper the draft is really OK. Void Chrono got counter-initiated? Kunka can save some with Ghost Ship or Torrent, both having excellent cast range, threw things around. QOP could blink out, Luna with BKB can Eclipse after/before doesn't matter because it still hit people even on Naga's song duration, etc2.

On the other hand DC was having a non-nonsense draft. Naga's song and Ravage gotta be one of the strongest counter-initiation. Tthey both win through it and better teamfight, in my opinion.

Even though I immensely buthurt because DC sent 2 SEA teams packing, I think they deserve to be in final. Their plays these past few days are very good, consistent in both performance and drafting.

TI the only thing matter is problematic because it is an annual event. Make it biannual and it would be better.

Man, it would be fun if EG got knocked out by a clowny pub strat. I doubt it's gonna happen though, but respect for picking Jakiro :D

For some reason I'm getting triggered by how that one commentator guy is pronouncing titan. He's consistently skipping a vowel.

DC ought to have won that game 2. Their mid and carry were ahead of their counterparts at 20 minutes, and they had all the map control. It felt like EG were going to get rolled by 25 minutes, but Moo's chronos were repeatedly too far away from the rest of the team, leading to bad positioning.
