Gaider and Co. need to experience financial bankruptcy.

They're already morally and mentally bankrupt. COMPLETE THE CIRCLE

Eurogamer has a new article on this today. Basic summary is:

  • Keeping what worked, ditching what didn't marketing speak.
  • Saves definitely carry over.
  • The fast action game style animations are staying.
  • The Witcher 3 is not competition because they love every game everywhere.
  • No mods because the engine is hard.

According to BioWhore, paraphrases and dialogue wheel worked.
Saves carrying over was pretty much expected.
Popamole gonna popamole.

Oh yeah I forgot that part, same dialogue wheel stuff is in. They mentioned getting better at paraphrasing, which they've been promising since Mass Effect 1. Yet somehow I still click something like "not right now" and the character says something like "shove it up your ass, wanker."

Would be hilarious if the NPC then answered "not right now" :troll:

The great thing about DA II's dialogue system was that it pretty much forced you to have gay sex, since there was no discernable way to turn down that blowjob your male elf companion offered you without angering him into leaving the party. I hope Bioware keeps that in, it makes them out stand out from every other RPG.

  • Keeping what worked, ditching what didn't marketing speak. < How many times I've heard this (not only about games) ?
  • Saves definitely carry over. < Pretending that DA2 never existed, how would a savegame from DA1 affect the world in DA3?
  • The fast action game style animations are staying. < One reason not to buy it.
  • The Witcher 3 is not competition because they love every game everywhere. < In other worlds, 'consoletardized' Witcher 3 will be still better than this.
  • No mods because the engine is hard. < Time to search for that ROFLcopter GIF.

Perhaps you are taking 'no discernible way' a little too literally. You have to admit, it is incredibly hard to keep Zevran from being massively offended if you just want to talk. Which is a shame because most of his lines are funny. It is borderline impossible (without wikia dialog maps) to get Zevran at high approval without butt sex. Sadly the best advice I can give to first time players that want Zevran to stay in their party is to ignore him and just shower him with gifts.

They are talking about the second game. And, in Origins, its really easy to bring every character to maximum approval without romance - their individual quests and specific gifts should do it. I told Morrigan to go fuck herself all the time and she still ended worshiping me.

I did it just fine. Not-flirting with people is easy.

  • Romances and copy/paste hero story.
  • Instead of emails you will receive paper letters.
  • Break dancing mages carry over.
  • We have built our own exclusive audience of psychos and degenerates.
  • There's going to be a lot of dlc.

The most effective way I found was not playing the game.

Read mainstream reviews and infer that whatever they praise is actually the opposite, commence complaining.

My biggest problem with DA2 was that the game was taking itself so horribly seriously while at the same time serving up big heapings of "button-awesome connection" and women calling each other cheap whores to signify mutual respect.

#1 Problem: Investing emotionally in Dragon Age 2. Even if it had followed the design prinicples of DA:O it would have been shallow.

No, people's emotional investments were the best part of the game. Back when DA2 was announced, I ran a thread on the SA forums devoted to driving people who cared about the franchise up the wall. Pushing people's buttons by bolding two sentences in a press release was infinitely more fun than actually playing either game.

Both games were basically 10% dialogue, 1% set pieces, and 89% filler. Strip away the PR and the agitated gamers, and the DA franchise is just bland and boring, like an average teenager trying to make himself look cool by getting a dragon tattoo.

LOL WUT? Unlike 2nd game you only have to say it No once... Also was not Z bi? From my Impression he was not homo but used sex as tool of assassin. Z for an Elf was a bro in the end even for my Dwarf. :bro:
