Byzantine colors hijacked.
Funny, Byzantium would make a great setting for an RPG. It definitely has better lore than Dragon Age.

Devs themselves said they based Tevinter on Byzantium...which means that elves are a closest local equivalent of mislims and solas is a pointy-eared mohammed
Pretty sure the muslim equivalent are the Qunari. I recall David Gayderino saying that elves are inspired by native americans and jews.Devs themselves said they based Tevinter on Byzantium...which means that elves are a closest local equivalent of mislims and solas is a pointy-eared mohammed
yeah, being pessimistic and depressed is not unusual for bioware target audience because hormone therapy is known to cause this shitWhat’s left of BioWare fans are pessimistic on Youtube and Bsnboards are pretty much dead.
welcome to the thread looking forward to your next postI don't care about this game
Anything that was even the least bit interesting about DA's world has been scrapped in favor of either elves doing everything or hey look gay people. Then some years later I randomly checked and apparently the new lore states that Tevinter stole everything from the Elves and the Elves genocided themselves and never lost a war against the humans that merely thought that they genocided the elves or something but again the humans are still at fault but they didn't create anything they merely stole from the Elvish kangz and it was too retarded to even fully comprehend.Devs themselves said they based Tevinter on Byzantium...which means that elves are a closest local equivalent of mislims and solas is a pointy-eared mohammed
Codexers may not care about this game in itself, but we can still find enjoyment in the prolonged demise of Bioware, which has done so much harm to CRPGs over the past quarter-century.I don't care about this game
How dare you, you transphobic, racist, sexist, qunari-phobe alt-right fascist!!!!!I don't care about this game

I still don't understand your major beef with Baldur's Gate 1 and 2...Codexers may not care about this game in itself, but we can still find enjoyment in the prolonged demise of Bioware, which has done so much harm to CRPGs over the past quarter-century.I don't care about this game
RTWP + D&D Purist... possibly other things. That'll get you on the right track though.I still don't understand your major beef with Baldur's Gate 1 and 2...Codexers may not care about this game in itself, but we can still find enjoyment in the prolonged demise of Bioware, which has done so much harm to CRPGs over the past quarter-century.I don't care about this game

Greyhawk is one of the best settings and would've made for a better campaign, I agree, but I still think that's way too harsh.I still don't understand your major beef with Baldur's Gate 1 and 2...Bioware was decline from the start.
- Execrable RTwP combat, copied from RTS popamole, that is far worse than either turn-based or real-time combat
- Poor exploration
- The worst D&D/AD&D campaign setting
- Companion romances
(...) Solas fangirls rejoice(...)
there are no other settings, yeseveryone is imitating Forgotten Realms
the lotr movies and its consequencesNow a thought occurred to me - everyone is imitating Forgotten Realms, including Bioware. But why not Ravenloft?
Isn't it blantently obvious that the Qunari are Mooslims?...which means that elves are a closest local equivalent of mislims
