Can someone explain this "chud" thing to me? What's this supposed to mean? Is "chud" the new "incel racist"?

EA Boss Says BioWare Has Returned to Its Strengths With Dragon Age, Predicts 'Breakout Potential' Thanks in Part to 'Limited Competition'

"BioWare has rallied around what made BioWare a fan-favorite studio and a fan-favorite brand and the types of games they make – incredibly rich worlds, incredibly nuanced characters, really powerful and compelling stories with comaraderie and friendships and relationships, and decisions that matter in the context of gameplay," Wilson said. "And I think it’s been that return to what made BioWare great and giving the studio time to deliver against what makes BioWare great in the context of the Dragon Age world is what amounts to Dragon Age: The Veilguard."
Looking ahead to The Veilguard's release, Wilson praised its solid reviews and suggested that it has "breakout potential" thanks to BioWare's existing fanbase and the relatively clear release calendar. "We're going into a market with limited competition for this category of game given some of the moves that has happened across the broader industry," Wilson said, likely referring to Ubisoft's decision to delay Assassin's Creed Shadows into 2025.

:bioware:

“BioWare has Return.” Hey, the EA boss is saying the same thing all those over the top blowjob reviews from different outlets are saying, what a coincidence.

Limited competition is pretty funny. This fucking shit is going to get buried by the Monster Hunter Wild beta that’s going on. There will be more people playing that beta on Steam than playing this thing tomorrow.

My theory is that for someone to end up as soft and sensitive as these types of people, you have to be a victim of bullies for your whole life without ever figuring out how to bite back. So they're all trash at being mean to people. Anyone with a lick of sense would hear the word chud and know it has a nice ring to it. Can't hurt someone's feelings with a nice ring.

RE: Did wokeness cause the awful writing - I honestly think trying to be woke and inoffensive is a big reason this game is shit. When nothing can be "problematic" and "bad representation", where is the drama and conflict going to come from? There is nothing to these characters outside of being LGBT. Where are my disaster bisexuals who wake up half drunk in ditches not knowing how they got there? Where is the overcompensating gay macho who constantly gets into unnecessary fights to prove he's macho and gets beat up in taverns? The homeless junkie who is constantly high on lyrium but can somehow swing a spell or two because of that?

There is none of that, just the Qunari (coming from an extremely rigid society) explaining what non-binary is and how to use "they" in a sentence. Taash would've been a great exploration of what happens when a person born in the Qun simply can't conform to the expectations. Ostracization and homelessness aren't out of the question.

Not at bloody all.

You see, game reviewers play a load of games. That doesn't necessarily make them masters of beauty though. "Return to form" is one of those trite and banal phrases, dead language that has a mass revival every time another Fifa or COD (or Dragon Age) is released.

Google "return to form + Black Ops 6".
Google "return to form + Fifa"
Google "return to form + Call Of Duty"

Or go looking.
