This is kind of true if we are looking only at the Grindr community. There's a problem with wide-spread body image issues, insecurity and inability to form long-lasting relationships due to various similar factors among the gays. That would've been nice to explore in this overwhelmingly queer game, but the devs deemed it more necessary to include a whole character whose entire arc is coming out to loving parents/mother.
