its physical damage is weird. golems are laughing at it.
Friends list probably. In the pawn recruitment thingy dimension there are several incredibly high level pawns decked out in gear, I assume these would be completely gamebreaking to hire? Why are they there?
pretty much my experience as sorcerer too. slow chipping on his health bar and then suddenly few bars just disappeared. The only difference was this time the attacks landed for some inexplicable reason.
DD would certainly get even more better if you could fart on people's faces!A good ways into the game now, this feels kind of like the game Fable wishes it was.
Since I started my replay of this, I've noticed the Pawns in DDDA are seriously retadred compared to DD2. I'm finding their general behaviour really frustrating and I don't remember feeling this annoyed with them when I originally played it.
Pawn behavior in the original Dragon's Dogma varies dramatically with their inclinations, which are far more restricted in the sequel. After the PC port was released, I downloaded a mod that allows the player to select the primary and secondary inclinations for all procedurally-generated pawns, which rendered them far more helpful than they had generally been in my playthroughs on the Playstation 3. For your Main Pawn, of course, you can purchase potions from the vendor at the Encampment, which allow you to set the primary and secondary inclinations; you should periodically reset these to avoid drift that will tend to occur over time.Since I started my replay of this, I've noticed the Pawns in DDDA are seriously retadred compared to DD2. I'm getting deeper into BBI now that I finally passed the Gazer. While the game has once more resumed telling me that "I should be this tall to ride", I'm not having too much trouble. I found another void key and ended up fighting a cursed dragon. It was a let down compared to other bosses. It was only me and my main pawn, but we smacked it around with fire. It barely got any attacks off. I had fun fighting my first Minotaur. Miasma and the lightning whip (high brontide?) did it in quickly. An elder ogre randomly spawned, but I was able to push it off a cliff pretty quickly. I'm wondering how much deeper this thing goes.

Gazer excluded, I think the nightmarish hellhounds are the most difficult for me to fight. They definitely cause me to clench up when they spawn.
It might be worth switching to Hard Mode for a restart after you feel you've got far enough into BBI, then sticking on the mainland until you reach the post-game.Stoned Ape Normal difficultly. I don't think I would remotely stand a chance at BBI if I were playing Hard Mode. I think I just hit Level 63, but I suspect I've been advancing the plot a bit too slowly in the main game. Whereas on BBI I feel underpowered and vulnerable much of the time, on the mainland I'm a demigod. I've paid so little attention to the plot that I'm not even sure where I am at on it. The most recent event I can recall is getting thrown in the dungeons by the Duke after his wife tried to seduce my MC unbidden.
I dunno. I feel that DD2 has better vocations even with only having 4 selectable skills. Combat is balanced better so Fighters and Warriors are enjoyable to play through to the endgame. Trying to play Warrior through BBI was not a pleasant experience.DD2 is better in some regards, but overall DD1:DA is better.
