every vocation now only has access to 3 skills instead of 6 though.more skills
I've avoided doomposting but at this point can someone give me a legit reason why I'd play DD2 instead of just going back to DD1?
My nigga, stop making excuses. The PS quintuple is FOUR years old.I think part of the reason for the bad optimization is in part due to the fact this is the first actual next-gen game Capcom has developed
Towards the end of each console generation, games are usually better optimized as devs have much more experience on how those systems work and all the tricks to keep performance smooth
All REngine game before this were basically PS4 games, with a few bells and wistles on newer systems
This was first they developed from the start for newer systems exclusively
It's 4 skills + a vocation action that can be anything from Thief dodging to Mage using Anodyne. A few bread and butter skills like Scarlet Kisses have been turned into core skills, so they don't take up a slot either. 4 skills only seems like a huge downgrade on Sorcerers.every vocation now only has access to 3 skills instead of 6 though.more skills
I think so, but not sure by how much. And I'm not sure if the total # of skills per vocation has actually been increased.
Most importantly, it's open world and has lots of stuff going on.I think part of the reason for the bad optimization is in part due to the fact this is the first actual next-gen game Capcom has developed

These are the same people who think a man can get pregnant. You believe they/them/xir?Reviewer in the first video said that he did everything the game had to offer in 43 hours (80-90% of content). So I was assuming that he ALSO did everything that the endgame has to offer. But apparently the Fextra review says something different. 40 hours for a JRPG is still rather short nontheless.Since when is 40 hours for a main questline a "short" ??I am shocked that it only takes like 40 hours ... Though I don't have a problem with short games
I don't even know them. I just like when Infy lists sites and scores, making it look like the game is dope. I was just poking him and saying "c'mon, do it"Who the fuck gives a shit about any of these sites retardThe reviews are coming out
- GFINITY - 10/10
- GameSpot - 9/10
- IGN - 8/10
- OpenCritic - 91/100 - 100% Recommended
Infinitron you watching this? You gonna make a newspost?
And when did the major publishers started releasing games exclusively for it (i.e. no cross-gen titles)? The PS quintuple is FOUR years old.
I'm pretty sure Infini doesn't shill jap gamesI don't even know them. I just like when Infy lists sites and scores, making it look like the game is dope. I was just poking him and saying "c'mon, do it"
I want this game to be dope, is all.
So? They've been developing games for it for over 5 years. LOL, imagine unironically claiming that the performance problems are because "capcom are inexperienced".And when did the major publishers started releasing games exclusively for it (i.e. no cross-gen titles)? The PS quintuple is FOUR years old.
That's right not even 1 year ago
The PS5 is such a success that even after almost 4 years on the market, it still shares most of its releases with the motherfucking PS4 and only now the AAA devs are starting to developed exclusively for it
furry woman and furry man if ur gayI've avoided doomposting but at this point can someone give me a legit reason why I'd play DD2 instead of just going back to DD1?

Poor optimizationWhat's the excuse for the PC version then?
Best in class combat, best in class quest design, emergent gameplay, solid physics. But you should probably ignore it because it's not 200 hours of gay shit and your third world PC can barely run it.I've avoided doomposting but at this point can someone give me a legit reason why I'd play DD2 instead of just going back to DD1?
Holy shit!
This is what you get for praising trash like bald gay 3.

I'm so sad.So we have positive: quest design.
And negative: Needs 12 core, Denuvo crap installed, and it's short.
Make it run fast on 4 core, remove Denuvo, and sell it for up to 40 USD and we have a commercial game.
Why not quote reviews by The Sun and The Forward too while you're at it.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/26817086/dragons-dogma-switch-ps4-deal/While gamers will have to wait a few more days to get their hands on the highly-anticipated game, they can play the first entry in the series while they wait, and there’s no better time than now.
That’s because Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is currently less than £5 on Nintendo Switch and Steam, and for some PlayStation owners, can even be played for free.
I'm seeing a mixture of [Citation Needed] and features that sound more like they're done for marketing purposes rather than add anything of true value to the minute-to-minute gameplay. What does expanded grappling mechanic mean? Or what do you mean by more enemy behavior and what ways does that improve the gameplay for me? Foes with low health can be dealt a killing blow when they are at low health is just a trendy mechanic in modern gaming. So? Never felt like it was missing in DD1. Will there also be an awesome animation of me killing the enemy each time I trigger it? I hate those. More skills sounds good but as I already heard the magic dagger skills were removed from the MA and all I've seen in the gameplay vids are the same spells I was able to use in DD1 so everything I've seen is contrary to the claim that there are more skills in the game. I need something more concrete than "trust me bro it's gonna be awesome".
- more skills
- more complex base movesets by integrating old skills into vocation levelling
- expanded grappling mechanics
- expanded enemy behaviours even on old enemies
- it is now possible to stand enemies and use skills as if on solid ground
- foes with low health can be vanquished with a finishing blow
- a 'downed' state has been added, much like a prolonged out of stamina knockdown
- pawn revival from the unconscious state now takes longer and instead restores them to the same health as the Arisen.
- items no longer restore health to full, making expeditions riskier as they continue
