The Dreamfall Chapters team is highly experienced, talented and passionate, and we know, respect and love The Longest Journey universe

I wonder about The Longest Journey Home Edition. It's probably not a remake, since the rights to the series are in Funcom hands, and from I've read they don't want recreate old stories. If the game was happening right after TLJ, being a bridge between original and Dreamfall...? But the stream of cash slowed so much that 2 million $ seems to be unreachable in 11 days.

I think kickstarter made rules against giving away multiple copies because of some problems with the physical item kickstarters.

So is this going to yet another crap 10 hour adventure game like Dreamfall?

Not that I particularly enjoyed Dreamfall, but if you knew what you were doing most old adventure games took far less time than that to finish. I can go through King's Quest 5 in barely over an hour.

Dreamfall is perfect so it doesn't need remake. Let's butcher the original through our immersive 3d engine and (probably) dumbed down puzzles. They wanna milk TLJ as much as they can.

8) On Kickstarter page you've written that Chapters will be 3D point-and-click. Meanwhile, on GameSpot interview you've stated that the way we play the game will be somewhat similar to Dreamfall (though with much better interface). Simple question: will we need to use keyboard (or pad) to play Dreamfall Chapters?
Sorry for so many questions (I'm just too curious I guess), I hope you'll have at least enough time to answer to the community ones!"
