After I ended a very long project last week and decided to play this game as a nonlifer for some time, I had the server crashing during the reincarnation and now, the nvidia driver fails to work in load in linux kernel module by no reason after a update. After many hours, I decide go ditch my debian 11 installation and install debian 12. Then the same driver error. And same driver error again, when I finally find the problem(had to put different parameters in /etc/apt/sources.list), the computer after the login becomes a black screen. Decided to try Pop OS and even considered buying an AMD GPU and ditch this awful driver. After some time, realized that the problem was the wayland, so I switched to the X(not the twitter). Reinstalled the game and I who have over 1k hours in this game and had to endure the tutorial some days ago, am forced to read the same tutorial pop up messages again...
I must have rolled 1 in my LUCKY stat IRL.
The main reason which I use Debian instead of other linux distros is that for me, if things can go wrong, they will go wrong. I used Archlinux as in my previous job, everyone in my team used it, but since I become unemployed, I started to use Debian again. So far, the unique problem that I had with this game in Linux is when I wanted to open the DDO store and could't due a problem with wine, browser and mono.
This game has platinum in
protondb.
Yeah Isle of Dread is definitely my favorite expansion. D&D Jurassic park.
I liked a lot the quest design in the DLC.
I have heard that Vecna expansion is even better but din't did a single vecna quest yet. Lv 12 yet.
But imo we need more high level sub epic level adventures. I mean, we have sharn and that is it to go from 17~20.
