This is probably one of the best videos I have ever seen on such development cycles back in the day as well as focused solely on Planescape Torement. Incredibly well done.

Yeah, I watched it all last night. The stuff about the its development is pretty great. You can tell he probably talked to Spitzley, because there is info there I've never seen or heard of anywhere else.

I'm curious how many people have seen it all.

Halfway through. Tons of bitching about the combat, undercooked mechanics and inconsitent quest design.

Yeah, it's all true, but the two times I've played the game all those things were barely perceptible. I got sucked in, playing in 10+ hours sessions, having a blast. It's the same thing with Kotor 2. The systems need to provide a minimum of dopamine boost, an illusion of customization and it's enough when the story and worldbuilding are engaging.

Don't bother. You wouldn't appreciate it. Your developing mind got scrambled by the crappy, politically charged "discourse". To paraphrase the classic "you are angry, but you can't explain why".
