It's a bit disappointing to see the style of the combat system they're using. Of all developers, the PB should have been first to take a page out of the FromSoftware book of combat design instead of sticking to these xbox360 era fights.

Didn't they say that FromSoftware was an inspiration for their combat? They tried and that's what they got.

A low energy try.

Look at all those grognards pretending they won't play the game.

We all know we will and we all know we will be disappointed.
But maybe ELEX 2 will be the game we're all waiting for.

If they go independent, then they will surely deliver their magnum opus we're all waiting for. Just imagine their stretch goals they would put up.

They were shilling their game 2 months ago in Poland. Some (then new?) game scenes. (Interview is in English)

The game looks so damn tired and uninspired. In all the fucking videos they've released. I want to support PB, but jesus shit... this ain't going to cut it.

The running animation for some reason reminds me of...

Yeah, it looks the most low cost shovelware game PB has done, even more soulless than risen 2 and 3.

This company is done, it has been for years.

That's exactly what I need the keys to go red when I am at low health. "Instant Visual Feedback" - Is not actually on the screen.

Then the screenshots posted before weren't bull-shots. They've definitely improved the vegetation and level design.

Despite hating Risen series, I am looking forward to this game. Haven't played a good RPG for a while now.

The environments and music are ok in this game, I guess.

But the combat just doesn't feel right, it looks robotic and lifeless, as if the enemies don't give a damn if they're gonna live or die there.

It's just a wild guess but they probably don't :)
