The love God of War 2018 gets is just fucking bizarre. It’d at least make some sense if there was something else it did and did well. But there isn’t. Like Skyrim has shit gameplay too, but at least you can understand how someone might like fucking around in the big open world they’ve created. But GoW ‘18 doesn’t even have that aspect going for it’s open world, or the the level design FromSoftware brings...although FromSoftware actually does good gameplay as well. But that 2018 God of War is just an action game. It’s not a particularly good action game. And as far as action games go the 21st Century is full of better ones.

The Mass Effect series is similar too. There are so many better third person shooters that the further in time we get from any of those original Mass Effect games the dumber it looks that any of them make best of list over a slew of other third person shooters or first or third person tactical shooters.

Zoomer trash.

Skyrim

It's one thing if you were taken in by this in 2011, but if you haven't reevaluated it in light of Bethesda's more recent slop, you should kill yourself now.

Portal 2

Decent game, and the first on the list that isn't embarrassing, but the first one was considerably better.

The Last of Us

Movie game trash. One of the worst things that ever happened to the industry.

Breath of the Wild

OK game, but vastly overrated by Nintendo-playing manchildren.

Elden Ring

Acceptable inclusion.

The Witcher 3

Boring as fuck. Kingdom Come is a much better action RPG.

Bioshock

Baby's first immersive sim. The second one was significantly better, but so was almost every other immsim from this century.

Baldur's Gate 3

Kill yourself if you voted for this gay porn simulator.

Half-Life 2

Borderline acceptable inclusion. There have definitely been better shooters this century (nu-Doom for example).

Fallout: New Vegas

Acceptable inclusion.

Mass Effect 2

Not even the best in its own series. IDK why normies fellate this one so much.

Grand Theft Auto 5

Bland as fuck. Imagine the fuckwit who voted for this over Vice City or San Andreas. Kill yourself if you play modern Rockstar.

Halo 3

Console shooter. Toss it in the dumpster.

Dark Souls

Acceptable inclusion.

Resident Evil 4

Borderline acceptable inclusion.

God of War 2018

Trash. The original trilogy blows this out of the water so hard.

Batman Arkham City

Ubisoft-tier trash.

Knights of the Old Republic

As the kids would say, "mid". Better than many games on this list, but certainly not worthy of inclusion.

Wii Sports

More bing-bing wahoo from the Nintendo manchildren.

World of Warcraft

Live service games should be disqualified from this sort of thing. Which version are they talking about? WoW has been getting worse and worse with each new expansion for over a decade.

Stardew Valley

Borderline acceptable inclusion, but it's a sad state of affairs if we can't come up with 25 more apt titles.

Call of Duty 4

Wii Sports is pretty fun, it’s one of the more interesting picks.

Kind of surprised there’s not more multiplayer games. Best Of list kind of like to jerk off Tony Hawk 2, but Tony Hawk 2 is not the best of the series, (I don’t even think it has better stages than the first Tony Hawk) and everything after 2 did come out in the 21st Century. I’d rather play a good Tony Hawk game than most everything on that list.
