Whereas you've never played it before, yet know better than I do whether or not the game is balanced after reading a paragraph from a developer blog post. I'm sure the developers would also advise you not to buy the game yet because, clearly, it's literally unplayable in its current state.

Are you capable of carrying on a normal conversation without lashing out? Every time I've discussed a game with you and questioned your viewpoint for any reason, you get angry.

Obviously, it's my subjective opinion, and I really don't give a shit whether you play the game or not, although I always encourage people to enjoy incline. You're free to ignore my opinion or disagree, by saying (for example): "Yeah, but I prefer to wait anyway. It still sounds unbalanced to me, and 0.13 seems like an ideal starting point at this juncture." There are options, but you always choose to be a cunt if someone's suggesting you might not be right.

Ive owned and played the game since long before steam was even considered. Stopped reading past this: "Whereas you've never played it before, yet know better than I do"

So you meant to say you wanted to play again, but not until 0.13? All right, then.

I've been through all the research in its current iteration, same as you, and have no idea why you're fixated on green potion costs or think the balance is horrible as-is, but that's what happens when opinions differ.

I think the pace of the game is pretty shit. Im not saying the game isnt fantastic. I think it deserves its rating on steam. I just dont want to play before the balance changes, seeing that they have already been announced. It remains to be seen whether the patch changes much, but I will probably start playing then regardless

My decision to not play has more to do with OCD than an actual real problem with the game, and im an asshole that lashes out because i dont like you much, regardless of how on point your opinion may, or may not be.

edit: when i say pace of the game is shit I of course mean in regards to research. The pace of the rest of the game is actually one of the best aspects of the game.

I decided to buy this game and give it a try and this is fucking awesome, and its sucking all my time (39 hours in and counting).

The complexity of it is unbelievable, so many systems and ways to improve your production. I don't know if this is going to persist over future playthrough's, but this game is all about thinking and improving your last thinking and improvement. It kind of reminds me of Stronghold Crusader (a game that I played to death in the past) in the way of developing the most fast/efficient layout to you base, resources gathering, processing, building and so on.

The character equipment/itemization is better or at least much more satisfying than many games I have seen/played. Power Armor modularity is top notch. The Tank is so much fun... riding on a train is very simple and at the same time glorious.

I think that this game can easily be modified in the future to be more than a simulation/strategy game. I'm already thinking "would not be awesome if this engine is improved to the point of being able to make a RPG of it?"

One of the best games I have played.

You're using only bots to move stuff from trains to smelters? Barbarian.

When I built that train station nexus prior to installing an 8 x 4 networked grid of roboports that precisely covered my 400 x 200-tile base, I didn't realize what a pain in the ass it would be to snake underground belts through the exit track design and into the furnace arrays, which can't overlap the roboports on the grid and so have to be placed a certain way.

Later, when I tore up my initial furnace installation to install more furnaces in a different position outputting onto two colors of underground belt, the snaking became too annoying, so I shat out a bunch of roboports and moved to pure robots instead.

Not a big deal really, I have 2,400+ logistics bots in this base and only 100-200 tend to work on moving ore at any given time.

Can't wait to start playing again. I'm waiting for the next update, that should be long enough for it to feel fresh and I'll get the news trains stuff, etc.

Might even delve into multiplayer, although I hesitate to because that's how unholy abominations are birthed.

impressive. I don't think he did by hand each frame. Which means he wrote small computer, display and video handler inside of game.

Multiplayer is a lot of fun, especially with some mods to up the challenge.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
Some guy who clearly does not want me to finish my term papers on time tricked me into playing this game.

I have been up for 40 hours and there are 4 plastic cups of ready-made cold brew coffee and 4 cans of Red Bull next to my computer. I have grown a beard. I also have to go to work.
Yesterday.

I had 160h on 0.12 version and was waiting till 0.15 (for liquid wagons, blueprint export/import, etc) to play again, then a few days ago I thought "hey, I should make some blueprints in advance and learn how to use the logistic network".

Well, right now I'm almost with 2 blueprint books full and at 200h+. But still have lots of BP to do and some to improve. I guess by the time 0.15 stable happens I will have probably more than 400h already.
