So there were 2 options to Choose... Fallout and Fallout Classic.

I chose Fallout.

There is also something about high-res textures. Didn't want to bork up my game and the instructions are limited or not clear.

So, what do I need to do to maximize my Steam Fallout experience?

I ignored this game on release, and only played it after a friend recommended it to me, in 2000 (I borrowed his copies of Fallout 1&2 in exchange for my copies of Planescape: Torment and Baldur's Gate). It totally blew my mind, and to this day remains one of my all-time favourites. I've even hunted down the original release box (for inflated second-hand price) and now it proudly sits on my shelf, alongside other Interplay classics.

I got the box second hand too, in almost perfect condition, but for about $10 (together with 2 other boxed games) from some poor sod who put them in the wrong category on ebay. :happytrollboy:

:negative::negative::negative:

Why so negative? That's a good sign to me. If even popamole generation kids appreciate the classics after overcoming their prejudice, we may yet have hope.

They couldn't even spell my name right. :(

If you are not going to make this Fallout game you have in your mind, then maybe your would give us a snippet of it? Just a tinny, little bit, pretty, pretty please? What would make it the best game ever?
:love:
Shapes - Son. Lot's of them in different sizes and forms, with varied colors. Dancing all the time right before my very eyes. I tell you it's majestic!!!
Yeah. I meant "new game but without that angle-shape degeneracy", at least it looks like hting for degenerates staight from Idiocracy.

Bought in my time 3-4 Fallout and 4-5 Fallout 2 CD, didn't know then that Fallout wasn't officially released in Russia, wanted to gave more money to devs and to share and gift that outstanding game, later bought officially released version of Fallout 2.
