Also are you really getting a power armor in what seems to be an early quest?

That's absurd. I guess they want the power armor to be a big thing since they added so much to it, but power armor has always been like the holy grail. It's the end game armor and that's what makes it cool.

Having it like this just kills the power armor's identity. God that's awful.

The combat actually looked like pretty fun popamole though, so there's that.
My guess is that the power armour is weak/limited until upgraded sufficiently.

Eh I don't like that at all.

Imagine if the BoS guy at the entrance to the bunker in Fallout 1 gives you a set of power armor before sending you to the glow. It just diminishes the value of power armor.

The "gunplay" looks pretty cool, I have to say. Can't think of anything else that's positive, though :P

You forget about majestic porn mods that follow every Bethesda game , with help of enthusiasts the game will turn into " Sex , drugs rock , rock'n'roll " scheme very soon after mod kit release .

Dog should have started rambling about atmosphere for the complete and accurate representation of a Fallout 3 drone. I'm pretty sure we can throw away all IQ tests and just confirm people as irredeemable retards when they claim Fallout 3 was atmospheric in any way.

Doesn't look very limited or weak to me. The black dude gives it to you in what appears to be a fairly early quest and you then proceed to mow down hordes of enemies, including a fucking Deathclaw mini boss fight at the end.

And I bet that Deathclaw doesn't crawl out of its hole until the previous trash mob is properly dealt with, in typical spoon-feeding Bethesda fashion to maximize cinematic immershun and engagement, instead of triggering its exit merely by approximation at any given time and giving the player the option to pit it against the aforementioned trash mob.

You probably don't get to keep the Power Armour, it's just a taste of being overpowered early on in the game, like the shitty stupid Fat Man was in Fo3.

U wot?
How is someone going to take it from you, anyway? Did the black guy already begin to practice his telekinetic abilities?
Pfft. They wait until you run out of minigun ammo, then trip you with a bola like an AT-AT. Nothing's invincible.

If you happened to notice, you needed to insert a power cell into the armour. My guess is the power dies.

It breaks down after you use it because it's old, it belongs to the town people and they take it back, the Deathclaw busts it up in the fight, etc. There'll be something that stops you from keeping it. You could get Power Armour about 5 mins into Fallout 3 but you couldn't actually use it without getting "training" first, so maybe something like that too.

That makes it like the car from FO2 then. I'm OK with this. However I think this will give room to explain why Sarah Lyons wouldn't help you at the end of 3, since the radiation could possibly fuck up the power armor's EC reserve, rendering it useless for some reason (?).

I'm fine with the way they're apparently doing power armor. I'd rather see less of it.

Fallout 4 Website Expanded

Bethesda Softworks has announced the launch of their "newly-expanded" Fallout 4 website, which features the expected bevy of artwork, screenshots, and videos that you would expect from such a place. It also contains subsites for every major release in the Fallout series, save for the Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel action RPG that hit consoles quite a few years back that everyone seems to want to forget ever existed.

Check out those subsites. It's funny to see Bethesda advertising "strategic turn-based combat" and "a classic old school role-playing experience with depth and complexity".
