Won't lie folks, I would have been surprised if new Gamebryo title from Bethesda didn't look at least as hideous as this screenshot.

To be fair, I think this is supposed to be simulating the effect of your first moments outside the vault, when you see actual sunlight for the first time, that's why it's so bright. But yeah, it looks surprisingly bad, about the same as F3, without the green filter.

Lot of small-time retailers will ignore the day they are supposed to start selling the game. Console versions come complete so they don't need to wait for the servers to download the rest on launch day. Unless someone over on Valve's end fucks up we probably won't get a PC crack until release.

True, her black eye escaped my notice. On another note, what's the protagonist doing? Either he's dancing or he's the only one affected by nuclear shockwaves, which is in keeping with Fallout 3's theme of radiation affecting nobody but the player.
