He's talking about Undertale. But, yeah, this is nothing like it.

If you liked FFT for gameplay, you'll like this.
If you liked FFT for story / characters, you'll not like this.
If you don't know what FFT is, don't bother.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I'm here because the shoutbox said this game might be worth playing.

Giving it a try now.

edit..

First impressions, definitely FFT inspired.

I'm using keyboard and mouse atm so its a little weird, but manageable.

I've beaten the crossroads a few times and I'm currently leveling up menders and wizards, its always good to have a roster of back up people in any tactics game.

One thing I haven't figure out yet is how to make your enemies movement range pop up. Every tactics game I've ever played you've been able to click on an enemy and see what their movement range is as a visual indicator.

Is this possible in Fell Seal?

AFAIR definitely. Isn't it "cancel" like in FFT?

Check some of these anyway:

I like the art direction and general aesthetics of this one a lot more. Fell Seal's sprites looked like slightly spruced-up Gaia Online avatars.

Pathfinder: Wrath
I played it for awhile and then I realized I messed up my character and didn't want to fix them so I stopped. Kind of like Ogre Battle.

The closest thing I ever found to FFT was Disgaea. I'll never understand why there isn't a PC port of FFT.

I enjoyed it, it's competent but be prepared for some grinding. And well the artstyle might not be for everyone.
