Honestly, I've never before cared so little for a new Final Fantasy core game. Even FF13, which turned out the way it did, at least got me intrigued enough to follow before release. With FF15 it's a complete flat-line.

Well XII wasnt entirely bad, sure there were many faults but still had some good things.

FF XIII was when shit hit the fan because of being a linear corridor that "opened up after 40 hours in" or so some claimed (since its a lie, granted FFX was a corridor until you got the airship near the but at least you could go in BOTH directions, you could backtrack) and I think after 10 years of ... NOTHING really, this became more and more Nomura personal project as Sqaure is playing the bill for it and guess who is going to get burn? Hajime Tabata since he the one with least experience in the company and already have The 3rd Abortion (FUCK YOU) as a black mark, could not happen to a nicer guy if that happens.

His track record is really bad though just look at this shit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hajime_Tabata
The best game he directed so far was Crisis Core, he is also responsible for boring shit like Type-0
i don't care one tiny bit if he is a nice guy his games still fucking suck.
People said the same shit about Sean Murray: "oh he is so nice and humble" you know what? his game still fucking sucked.

Most of that list is mobile games, then sudden FF XV that is Square flagship series ... before him it was Nomura the director and then changed for what reason? I can venture a guess ... Nomura is being protected because reasons, so they "replace him" (not really, just name only) and if it flops then they have a fall man, I think they know very well Nomura just fucked around to the point the project is unlikely to pay what was 10 years of development, especially since this console generation been a dud, of course this is coming for PC for the exact same reasons that the XIII scatology come to the PC, they need to recover costs.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
I'll give this game credit for one thing. It will give me another great soundtrack to listen to.

Hopefully SE tanks after people realize this is a travesty. I'm tired of their final hitman raider ex-raping.

I hate to hate, but fuckers be relentlessly killing my beloved hobby.

Wishful thinking much? Square Enix hasn't been about Final Fantasy for more than a decade now. They don't give a fuck. They have their hands in many different pies now and one crappy FF isn't going to tank them. If that was the case then they'd already be dead by now already.

FFXV is in the players hands thanks to the glorious country - Peru. So soon we should get full plot synopsis thanks to 4chan or Reddit.

14's monthly income, remakes and rereleases of old games could probably keep the company afloat for the next 10 - 15 years, even if every other major release is a fucking bomb. Main entries into Final Fantasy sell well regardless of how big of a steaming pile of shit they are, anyway. They don't care, hah.

7 is going to be a fucking goldmine regardless of how much it sucks. If they really love money, they'll completely remake Xenogears as well.

Square is fucking ridiculous, their excuse for delaying the game an extra month was because they didnt agree with day one patches... now with the early release in Peru, of all places, it's confirmed that the day one patch will be 7.2GB...

:hmmm:

I guess Square felt like they needed to give Paddington Bear first dibs on their newest masterpiece.

Wow, they didn't even try to make the food look like stuff from the game universe. Pathetic.

FF 15 is the next No Man's Sky.

Signs point that it's closer to being the next Metal Gear Solid 5.

Dunno MGSV at least had some great characters and gameplay yeah story was shit and the missions where repetitive.
FFXV on the other hand has shitty gameplay and a K-Pop Boy Band as protagonists, can't really comment on the story but the leaks are pointing to a stinker.

No Man's Sky was a piece of shit that had no hope of ever being good. FF15, like MGS5, might've been good at some point in the design room before they were slashed to ribbons because the hack project directors went over budget. Also both have the number 5 in their title.
