Maybe people should "donate" based on postcount...that might help keep some of the spammers under control and save some bandwidth.

Mind you this place isn't quite as bad as the Obsidian forums, where some people had 1000+ posts before they even announced a single product. That was taking the piss a bit, methinks.

*gasp*--IPLY forumites, spamming? WELL I NEVER!

Also, I'd give Sorcerer's all kinds of money if I had any myself.

Bandwidth's not an issue, memory usage is. And there's nothing really effective you can do to fix memory usage on a server short of buying more RAM.

Demon 1. No.

2. You sure your Obsidian comment is accurate at all. Only one guy has 1k posts and that is justa recent thing. I'm second there and i only have just over 800 posts. Why do you exaggerate?

LOL - my sincere apologies for overestimating people's already absurdly high post-counts by a "mere" couple of hundred posts.

However I still think someone with 800 posts in a developer's forum when the developer hasn't even announced a product is taking the piss a bit and is spamming by anyone's guestimation...but each to their own. If you've got the time to burn Volo don't let me stop you. I admit you give me a good laugh from time to time (usually intentionally).

Spamming? Nonsense. Sure, some of my posts are spam; but mostly I do there what i do here - discuss games with morons. :D

As for making you laugh; at least my posts do some good in this world.

It is pretty piss poor that only 1 person of the codex has donated but everyone has their own idea's about whats value for money. I just donated the few euro's i had left over in my paypal account, mind you by rpgcodex standards its dirty money, considering its from the sale of an SWG jedi account (yes forgive me father for i hath sinned) but at least its going towards a website i enjoy, as opposed to making interest for paypal.

I can't donate because Paypal thinks Malaysia is a 'grey market' country with terrorists and Osama bin Laden and the enemies of freedom.

Way more than one person has donated, if your so unhappy you can take back your filthy irish money and drink yourself to death like the rest of them. Pull the shellelaigh out of your ass and check the bandwidth thread .

Well, I wish I could give more really, but my economic situation isn't that good at the moment. A low price to pay though, less than what I'd spend on seeing a movie and I get more hours of entertainment out of this place.
