Is SiN Gold on GOG censored like the Steam version?

SiN is a weird game for me. It's a standard Quake 2 engine shooter that came out near Half-Life, but I enjoyed its "pointless" interactivity that was slightly ahead of its time as well its light cyberpunk setting and bits of humor ("Don't play with Valve", and Duke Nukem and Lara Croft getting married).

The "stealth" mission in SiN-Tek was garbage, though.

Yeah, good old stealth mission in a shooter. It's like the mine train in a platformer.

I always a soft spot for SiN though, if only because it's a bona fide shooter with some branching and fun interactivity reminiscent of Duke3D. I like how just by getting some information in a level it will unlock another one that you may otherwise miss, or taking an alternate exit will start you in another part of the next level. That said most of that stuff is found in the first levels and the rest becomes a linear bore but it's still fun little touches that give some identity to the game.

The most fun I had with SiN however is the multiplayer. It's not just regular deathmatch of the Q2/3 era but some crazy maps like a running train (similar to the one found in UT), a giant living room complete with mouse holes you can explore (the concept has been copied since), the weird but aptly-named "brain pain" map, one with stairs everywhere and different gravities that feels like being in an Escher drawing, and then that huge map with two connected buildings … SiN was a staple of our network meetings, along with UT, Q3 and HL.

This was one of the shittyest sale for a long time. Only a few games on sale, and some of them wasn't even that good.

Aren't you busy with New Vegas anyway?

Well... I was and was having fun...but all the hype surrounding Dark Souls 2 has prompted me to replay both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

Skills are a bit rusty, but I can still do Anor Londo archers just fine (Dark Souls). Flamelurker is manageable as usual with Crescent Falchion +1 and Soul Arrows (Demon's Souls). Royal class is pretty good in DeS.

Agreed. I had most of the games. And even those I didn't have I couldn't bring myself to buy them because there was no bundle... It was just a game and if they sold all the games in a series, I'd probably more interested.

Though I like the way gog is experimenting with these deals.

What the hell is wrong with the site? I can't seem to open it with any browser. I've tried Firefox, Opera and even my mobile phone browser. It tells me my browser is out of date and I should update it but they already are. JudasIscariot ?

Logos of games work for me, but the site looks like a fucking notepad sheet.
