JudasIscariot any chance of having the original HOMM2 (non-Gold, without expansion) also available for download for those who bought HOMM2? Disclaimer: I have the original CDs so I won't be getting it, but Gold (and PoL) changes the music tracks for the towns, and IMO the originals are a hell of a lot better, and it would be nice to have the option to play the original campaigns with the original music.

Not gone, replaced. PoL had its own themes (still operatic for the most part) replacing the music in all six towns. You will recall original HOMM2 shipped on a CD, and PoL shipped on another, where the audio track layout was the same, and only those 6 tracks were different. The problem with Gold, way back then, is that it shipped on a single CD, and had the exact same track layout as PoL, so the original town music was gone. But this also means that re-implementing the original tracks is absolutely trivial - GOG won't even need to get an original copy of the HOMM2 CD or run it without PoL or anything, all you really need to do is replace the 6 music tracks (I think the GOG version plays them from MP3?) with the ones from original HOMM2, and you can then even play Gold/PoL with original non-expansion music. I think if you have 2 folders for music you can then switch depending on which version you want.

Shame, but thanks for the reply. I might suggest it through customer support, it's a pretty minor detail but it would make the experience more complete IMO, and as I explained above it's really trivial to fix.

Yes it is, I just tested this a minute ago. The music is in .ogg files - I simply replaced one and that piece of music changed in-game as well. Just find the files you want to switch out and replace them with whatever you want.
