DICTIONARY-FREE GAMES: THE COMMUNITY LANGUAGE PACK
Keep an eye out for these localized game versions that just hit our catalog.
Throughout the years, many of the games that are part of GOG.com have seen localized releases and we ventured to collect many of them with the help of our dedicated community and a thorough search through our master archives. Today, 21 of these elusive releases enter our wonderful, digitized catalog.
Learning a foreign language is no easy task, although games have been known to expedite the process. And hunting down localized versions comes with its own challenges but we are not ones to give up easily. Besides, we were not alone in this noble quest. Many of the localized versions on this list come from our personal collections, others we acquired through persistent eBay hunting, but a good number of them were submitted by members of our wonderful multilingual community, that humbled us with their generosity. Let’s take a moment to offer these people a resounding high-five and a warm "thank you" for making this Community Language Pack possible with their contributions.
Without further ado, let's take a look at the extensive list of localized versions, debuting today on GOG.com:

A huge thanks to all these people and the team at ScummVM.org for their numerous donations — both physical and digital. Good job, you guys. We may speak different languages, live in different parts of the world, or even enjoy different genres. But we are all gamers, and that's a word that sounds awesome in every language, n'est pas?
Note: These language versions will be getting gradually rolled out today, so don't fret if you don't see your language version right away.
This looked amazing from all the trailers and gifs devs were releasing, but user reviews and player comments so far are really damning... Shame.

Freedom Force is glorious. One of the best rtwp games ever.Is Freedom Force good? Being a comic book fag the setting is relevant to my interests.
Wonder if we might see stuff like Vietcong or H&D series. They were unwilling to release them on Steam, and as unwilling to answer any inquiries about their reasons.
Don't you need a copy of the original to play OpenXcom though?OpenXcom has pretty much rendered the original obsolete, but this is good for Terror From the Deep and X-Com: Apocalypse.

Yeah, licensed music is probably the sole reason for 2K Czech/Illusion's "period piece" games being absent or removed from digital distribution, even tho 2K never confirmed it. Still, it would be nice to see them on sale, even if that meant that problematic tracks are to be removed from digital releases (kinda like what RS did with San Andreas).Wonder if we might see stuff like Vietcong or H&D series. I hope so, still hold my Vietcong Anthology (bought for $3, found in random store on random shelf) without fear of being taken away due copyright issues.
Because the music is the sole reason it's not available for sell (it work on my Win764bit), see - Mafia games.

Was it confirmed that rights for Myth games are in 2K's hands?2K games are now on GoG: https://af.gog.com/news/take_on_2k?as=1649904300
Great news. Hopefully there's a chance of the Myth series showing up.
