Right now, I'm slowly playing trough the first episode of latest Blade of Agony beta.

I'm mostly enjoying it, even tho it can get rather frustrating at times. For example, there is this section in second proper map (which is a rather impressive piece of work overall - 'tis huge, somewhat non-linear, moody and great looking) where you are crossing a minefield while being shot at by some particularly precise German snipers. Or, in fourth map, you have a bunch of really powerful and precise hitscanners shooting at you basically from the moment map begins.
Still, pretty impressive stuff. Great use of GZDoom effects,
ridiculous amount of variety between maps - basically every single one of them so far presented a vastly different environment and situation. Also, they can be rather surprising. Map I'm playing right now, for example, starts at the location of m1... except, you then proceed to this complex of half-burred Egyptian ruins, and insides of said ruins would be right at home in a TR game.
There are some pretty nice touches too, like ally base BJ visits between maps: you get briefings for every new mission, chat with NPCs, you have a shop where you can use treasure you collected in previous map(s) to buy ammo and equipment (btw, not a big fan of how weapons and ammo don't carry on between maps).
