Where if you haven't yet read Wikipedia for lack of a better source, is the notion of pride in manhood/or masculine pride, which entails characteristics that every man should have. Characteristics such as dominance, pride, courageouness, virility/vigor, swagger. A general notion of men becoming men. "women are loving, men conquer." So you can guess how most Latin American cultures are like. Just look at Latin America and Brazillian T.V and their shows in how they portray men and women. Yet this "spicy" Latina trope shit has them acting all hard, loud, obnoxcious and lusting after weak men. I swear this fucking trope started with Aliens's Jenette Vasquez (Played by a jew by the way) and ever since then it has become the case in American culture, further pushed by Michelle Rodriguez (Bitch from Fast and Furious). And now in this game we have another wanna-be hard Latina going after a weak White "man" who she can easily dominate over (she wouldn't dream of doing this to the men back in her home country), because of course, White Men have to be portrayed in every media, as either the doting, passive, apathetic recepticle or the most evil, competent, stylish force there is.

The Latina is obviously portrayed as yet another swarthy looking woman, which is a typical stereotype created that doesn't necessarily apply to Hispanics. Since Hispanics have a wide range of skin color and physiognomy. At least they gave her a body that is typically associated with Latinas, but looking at the trailer closely, it seems like all the females have the same body type. So much for the developer being known for "details".

I liked the old White Male concept model, looked like he had an edge, a hard White, possibly a criminal from Daytona/Central Florida trying his luck further South. With obviously the roles reversed, him being the dominant, she the submissive/supportive who is a ride or die bitch that will love him and die for him through and through.

I wanted to share something about how Rockstar creates early trailers for GTA games and the point of this post is for those people who watched the GTA6 trailer and werent happy about the themes or ostensible themes

Here is one of the early GTA5 trailers and anyone who played GTA5 will see that is doesn't represent much of the actual game. You dont see the 3 main characters, only 1, and its more about broad realities of where the game is based in the fictional state of San Andreas. So early trailers often dont represent what the final game is about

well obviously they won't be able to cram every little sidequest into a 85 second trailer, but most of the stuff is there I think:

• jogging/sports activities
• heists
• golf
• jetski
• mountain climbing (there's a big mountain in the game, and some quests associated with it)
• cars with convertible roofs
• yoga
• airplane stuff, might be trevor who is flying that spraying plane
• properties you can buy, and also that one side mission where you have to take down the competitors' for sale signs
• hookers and bars
• police chase stuff

It's interesting that they never show trevor or franklin tho also none of the other characters like michael's family, still I think gives a pretty good overview of what the game is about. We don't see any specifics to quests, but the main quest is mostly doing heists anyway.

Compare this GTA5 trailer to the older trailer, this latest one is much accurate around the main theme in the game. maybe but I think the atmosphere of the first GTAV trailer is pretty accurate. When I just roam around the city that's the feel that I get. Maybe the atmosphere of the GTAVI trailer is accurate too. Maybe they thought something like V would be too boring for modern audiences.

I admit, that got to chuckle out me. Finally, a realistically-written female protagonist.

Gotta say, say the fact that the game takes place in the GTA-verse version of Florida has piqued my interest, at least in the open-world and exploration parts of the game. Gamers around the world will soon become sensitized to my day-to-day lived experiences down here in The Gunshine State. Constant reptile attacks, AI-generated weather, and the looming threat of getting mollywhopped by a tweaked-out hobo that wasn't even there when you last turned around.
