This is... surprising. Though I don't know what to expect from this guy honestly. But ok, I can dig a RT blobber too, I'll wait and see.

Ohh boy, he has no idea whatsoever... when this fails (and it will) then what, is he going to go for a platformer next?
I backed Thorwalla but... fuck this shit, I wanted to see a Realms of Arkania kind of game, not some half-assed shitty blobber. Deathfire? Seriously?

Damned, I thought it was going to be turn based, and would be something like Wizardry and Grimoire.
But a real time blobber? Unless he can come up with a level design half as good as Chaos Strikes Back and make the environment actually interactive I won't be interested in another Lands of Lore.
To me the big failure of the post CSB real time blobbers have been boring (compared to CSB at least) level design, and a static environment. What was really the point in real time in games like Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore?
Unlike Dungeon Master and CSB you couldn't do anything clever in real time that you couldn't have done turn based, thanks to their static environments. Not that DM and CSB were perfect in this regard, but at least their designers took advantage of the real time gameplay that later designers didn't do, or didn't understand.

rt blobber? fuck this, i'm buying a 3ds for eo4.
:incline:

It's not like it's much of a choice-
Do you want to dance the combat mambo for some half-baked Failstarter-

Or do you want to play a callback to Wizardry with deep character-building mechanics, draw-your-own-map appeal and satisfying difficulty, completely TB, as well as a notably competent translation? If you're a fan of western pre-Fallout RPGs the choice is no choice at all.

If he's smart he will throw it on Indiegogo. Then at least he can score like 1000 usd to get some new dvd's for his collection, from weirdo fan boys.

Pathfinder: Wrath I helped put crap in Monomyth
I have so many great blobbers still to play that I am really not looking for another one right now, especially a real-time, tile-based one.
Nevertheless, good luck with your project, Mr. Henkel.
