Wow, everyone. I took some incredible new screens. The graphics in this game are like an impressionist painting sometimes, just beautiful. Sometimes I go exploring purely to find nice views. I deleted my old character and made a new one, an elementalist. She's much cuter!

The first shot is of the old Penny, taking in a view that's just incredible. Its found in the Ruins of Sermia quest. It's just an unbelievable vista.

OK, on to the images. All the shots are a little bigger this time.

Finally, a FANTASTIC shot made possible by a trick of lighting from a crystal that fell from the sky during the Searing. This is Penny shrouded in darkness, with her Third Eye burning and vestments and wand glowing. Link.

So: Are this game's graphics incredible or what?

Edit: I should take a shot of my ranger-dude. He no longer has pink armbands or a pink facemask (looked like a harem-boy when he did), so won't be as easy to ridicule.:D

Apparently I'm teh sexah GW supermodel and pics of my nec are in much demand, so heres a few of mine. They're pretty large file size wise (few hundred k each) mostly uncropped jpgs, partly out of laziness and partly becuase some just work as a whole tableaux. Those afflicted with dialup will just have to curse Allah for not having mercy on their infidel ways. Also they're all cluttered up with interface junk because I lost the quick reference sheet and forgot the key combo to take shots without it.

The first two are me in yaks bend with an undyed bonelace top, and fanatic everything else:

A couple more of that outfit in blue, they're not very good, but they're the only shots of the blue one I have, guess I'll have to snap a few more. As far as general wear I think I like this one the best, but those armour sets tend to have weaker combat stats. :/

This set is with a full suit of undyed necrotic (I think) armour. I like the sillouette with this suit, but all of the mouths on it are a little strange. (The abdomen one keeps making me think of the one zombie character in Darkstalkers (or Guilty Gear was it ?) that had a huge mouth for a stomach.) Not sure where the first shot was taken, the rest are along the coast in Watchtower Coast, which I think is just one of the absolute most beautiful areas in the game. And the last is in Fisherman's Haven, which is my favourite banking zone because it's pretty, quiet, and unpopulated.

These last ones are with undyed necromancers (or something like that) gloves and tunic and the necrotic leggings and boots. The tunic is a little Elvira or stereo typical vampire for my tastes, but not bad. Plus it's shiny leather textured which is yummy. A bit revealing though for general wear. :/ Actualy what it reminds me of is the tunics they used for robes in NWN until the one expansion added proper ones.They were taken in some desert zone and Fisherman's Haven again.

Here's the shot of "gay" guild cape ideas I was messing around with the other night. I tacked on a pick of Noir's cape, because I think it's one of the better ones I've seen. I like the sort of elegant slightly Japanese vibe it has going on.

I have to agree with you Penny, this game has hands down one of the best visual designs I've seen. It's right up there with PoP, the Silent Hills, Nexus, Zelda Wind Waker, and the Noki bay level from the gamecube Mario game. It's just amazing sometimes. The attention to detail is wonderful as well. It just puts the technically more sophisticated Doom3 and HL2 engine games to shame. Nice shots too by the way. =) I should have used png too, there's a little jpg artifacting in some of mine, but oh well.

I did some monkerying around in the pvp character creation thing and mocked up a few character looks. It kinda sucks for that purpose though, most of the classes are missing alot of armour sets.
