RPGwatch gives you a copy when you donate 25$, was that so? Mb I'll donate there for cheap code

The Watch will receive no better benefits from their fundraiser than Codex. For Larian to do otherwise would be extremely poor business. As the Watch leader, Myrthos, said:

I'm working on including the physical game and other things as well as a reward at some point. Let's see how they respond to my suggestions. They are kinda busy at the moment.

Unless the Codex strikes another deal with them they are bound to get the same.

Don't fall for spy tricks. :D

Ya, but the thing is rpgwatch negotiates it appears, whereas the dex doesn't even try.

So the Watch is at exactly 4000, when everyone donates 5-10-25-50$ ?
Something tells me Myrthos hasn't substracted fees yet...

edit : also, isn't the point of a fundraiser to give away money ? Why ask for more and more rewards ?

The point is to preorder it. I mean there's a reason why everyone gives an amount equal to a reward level, and it isn't chance.

Angthoron is on the job.
I just sent Swen an email a moment ago.

Topics: Extra keys and possibility for named imps.

TLDR:

Re: asking for more stuff, I believe that if some of our members would know that, say, donating $25 would get them a guaranteed copy of the game, they'd up their $20/15/10 "Just to support" donations, and some of the people that are currently on the fence would chip in.

Re: named imps - some people were curious if the imps are nameless or named after the donors. Can't see the harm in asking, besides, imagine the bragging rights or the awesome street beggar opening lines declaring you to be an NPC in a game.

Pledge on kickstarter, give a couple more bucks to Codex...

Angthoron is bothering Swen as we speak.

Keep in mind - The winner is always Larian - not the Watch and not the Codex...

Don't try to downplay this. This battle decides the fate of the sites. Whoever wins, that will be the dominant RPG community forever.

Whoever loses redirects all traffic to the winner for a day.

Or better! The watchtower/troll must wear a pink dress (fairy) for a week.

If the Watch loses they must accept Andhaira to post there for a week.
