Yeah, probably, but I'd welcome some details.

Also, in before we raise 2500+ but Watch's fundraiser fails short of the goal and we don't get to bring them down in-game anyway.

If they don't make the $2500k they could put in a very small tower that the Troll crushes under its heel without noticing.

A huge red troll runs onto the map, gleefully waving around a huge club in the air and hollering as if preparing to attack a much-hated foe.

As it comes to a curiously empty patch of grassland, where once a watchtower might have stood, it comes to an abrupt halt. The club droops in its hand. It glances around desperately in every direction, looking for its expected enemy, then picks up a heavy rock and glances underneath it, but it just can't seem to find what it's looking for.

Finally it sits down on the ground and begins to sob, its existential sense of self completely shattered.

There won't just be those digital copies for DU to give out, think those are just a bonus on top of the regular $2500 tier. There is lots of other stuff like concept art, box copy, alpha access for someone, a donor gets to go to the release party, etc.

Yes.

if we reach $2500 we get all of these (I highlighted the coolest ones):

Pledge $2,500 or more
Release Party
You think RPGs are epic? You clearly haven't joined a Larian Studios Release Party. This is your chance. You will be invited and expected to our Original Sin Release Party. Rest assured, anything that happens at the release party, stays at the release party. (You must be able to pay for travel and accommodations.)

1 of the 4 Statues
There are many strange locations, people, creatures and things to find in Original Sin. For instance, you may stumble upon four magical statues. Four crazy, lying statues, that have been granting wishes and making everyone's life miserable. We haven't named them yet. If you hurry, one of them will carry the name of your choosing (within the boundaries of our game world). This name will be in the final game! The statue in the game will even be custom modeled so that the 3D model in the game actually looks like you!

ForkTong lar_q Could You confirm which of the above do we get for our (potentially raised) $2500? Is it all of it (in addition to the troll, book and 20 copies), none of it (because we get the troll, book and 20 copies instead), or part of it (which part)?

"If Watch gets tower and you get troll, they will attack each other."

All of that. The added carrots were bonuses on top of the rewards in that tier.

That's awesome. I'll write a breakdown on what is what for DU later, unless someone can and wants to do it right now.

Sorry to disappoint you. It is your fight not ours. It is also your idea to have a pissing contest not ours. So I don't see why we have to go along with it.
Are you guys that afraid that you are unable to raise sufficient funds on your own that you need this? Or is this just the way the codex works?
I can't tell if Myrthos is just ribbing us or he's not taking our challenge in the spirit it was intended.

Will I get a Race Traitor tag if I donate? And does the Codex do moneybookers? I can't use paypal because even after sending them everything short of a blood sample they still won't acknowledge that I am who I am :D.

They seemed pretty keen when it was first proposed. Lots of "Codex is only $100 ahead comments". Maybe now they're losing...

Race traitor is just for those of use who contributed to a Real CrapTime with Pause game.Turn based will not earn one. Though it's possible some other tag might be added for this fundraiser.

You should be able to donate with just a credit card. As seen here:

Tactics. They are trying to lull us into a false sense of security, only to drop a surprise huge donation at the last minute - why the hell do you think the $5.000 donation suddenly disappeared from the Kickstarter?

You would think in a spirit of mutual cooperation (which benefits both parties) they would be a bit more open to some lighthearted competition.

As a RPGDot/RPGWatch veteran and long-time RPGCodex lurker I don't get this constructed conflict.
Both sites care about crpgs - there are two sides of the same coin.
Maybe some kind of a friendly rivalry is there - making some fun of each other ;)

So I would prefer a friendly story between the 2 NPCs in Original Sin.

Just my 2 Cent.
