I switched to mpv from PotPlayer years ago out of convenience, before I used zoom player or mpc-hc codec bundles.Am I the only one who switched from VLC to Daum PotPlayer and never looked back?
I have some problem with mandalore, I watch him but not religiously like I do accursedfarms (Ross) for example, but exactly sure why as they're quite similar, I think mandalore has a problem where he can be too dry or something? I think his best video so far was empire earth, I've rewatched it like 4-5 times and still think it's one of his best, second best I would say were the recent thief games he's done (though I wish he covered the neu thief game).
Well, it's not literally Hitler. But for my personal usage, where I need to crop to different aspect ratios a lot of movies, with subtitles that go partly outside the visible screen, this is basicly the only reason I cannot use VLC.oh my, literally worse than hitler.
the reason you cannot use vlc for something vlc hasn't been made for it's because you're trying to use vlc for something vlc hasn't been made for.Well, it's not literally Hitler. You could pick up a modern RPG and be horrified by how shit it is. Two birds with one stone!I usually watch horror movies when playing rpgs.
You can simplify this, just play an inXile or Larian or Obsidian game.I usually watch horror movies when playing rpgs.
Here for the media player party.
Surfing net while streaming 3 videos concurrently (1. Ed123's bite-sized retro review video, 2. muted Baten Kaitos gameplay video & 3. Divine Divinity OST at low volume as background music) with mpv using Intel 2016 iGPU.
Normally, have at most 2 streaming videos playing on screen with the background music window minimized.
Edit:
Multtasking with more than 1 streaming (or playing locally-stored) videos is not a resource hog with mpv.
