You can easily tell retards who never held a book in their life when they confuse "their" with "they're" and "could've" with "could of" simply because their pronunciation is very similar.
I saw a few examples of "could of" myself and I know people making them weren't native speakers. It takes some time to get used to a language. I do agree, however, that reading a lot helps getting hang of the language in a natural way. You can literally feel when someone is making a mistake, because you develop a sixth sense of it.

I once heard someone say that Harry Potter is superior to Tolkien's Middle-Earth, because Tolkien "wasted all of his time on boring history and irrelevant world-building, while JK Rowling focused on real characters and emotional beats".

Wow, retardness of that statement is higher than Turkey's inflation.

Wasn't that a common criticism of Pillars of Eternity?

funny how codex knows names of the houses and what they do. i've lost bits of respect for this place i didn't know i even had left...
it's not rocket science

gryffindor = good
slytherin = bad
ravenclaw = smart
hufflepuff = background characters

you'd have to be pretty much ignoring popular culture of the last 20 years not to know.

The only type of people who'd touch this game with a 10 foot pole are 180lb+ 30 year old childless american feminists and faggoty NPC twitch gamers. Nobody with a T rating over 450 would dare touch this game when it drops.

This game would be more interesting if it didn't take place at Hogwarts at all. Like playing as an adult wizard doing wizard shit in the outside world. As it stands it looks like the game is just wish fulfillment for Pottertards who want to re-enact their favorite gay fanfics.

Sure. I believe you, buddy. It's okay.
Give a bro a hug.
Hey, why is your hand going further down?

No doubt!
But I'll take the progress of at least utilizing the setting for something that doesn't have you play as Harry Potter.

Small steps, I guess?

Maybe it will happen. If game will sell well there is bound to be a sequel. Why not the same char but grown up.

The Feminists declared Rowling Persona-Non-Grata after she came out as a TERF, it's really just new-age witches now, and even they get squeamish about it.

Hogwarts itself is marketable as a setting for a game. Are there any non-Hogwarts locations that have the same appeal? The Ministry of Magic maybe ?

Diagon Alley?

Have a crime strategy game in Diagon Alley, make deals with the Jewish carica-I mean goblins.

Be a half-way decent Syndicate knock-off.

Not suggesting to abruptly remove it, just gradually move it from central stage. Game by game. Like how old is mc in game 1? In hypothetical sequel, he could be in his final school years. That's usually when dark shit starts to happen more often. Graduate, fight some big bad. Or if you are evil yourself, work to replace antagonist as a more dangerous threat. Could raise the stakes, make the story more mature, dramatic.

Wanting to play a game set in the Harry Potter world but without Hogwarts or teen wizards is ridiculous. That's the whole reason the setting exists.

What's next? I want to play a game in the world of Ghostbusters, only the protagonist isn't in the Ghostbusters and doesn't fight or encounter ghosts in the game. He's a CIA agent trying to infiltrate a Columbian drug cartel. But in the world of Ghostbusters.
