I suck at naming characters too. Lack of creativity and all that. I usually just rip off names from known settings/movies/books (I may change a letter or two, that's how creative I am ). Too lazy to use name generators.

Already did name a character Null (with a last name I forgot) for Fallout 2.

Imagine yourself the proud father/mother of a newborn child. That does it for me at least, but it's assuming you wouldn't name your kids Max Carnage or Dick McButtfucker.

Hehe, I did exactly the same thing. And I did something which caused the raiders holding Tandi be afraid of me, and was (mistakenly of course) pretty sure it was because of the name and my ominous voice saying "I am None" :D

edit: In all oldschool dungeon crawls I play I have a female cleric called Laurana, in honour of the Dagonlance books I was so into as a kid and which seem so shitty right now :honourblade:

Usually I just use Claw.

Whenever I get a RPG character naming block, I resort to smashing my fingers down on the keyboard all at once to see what I get. Usually takes about 4 - 5 tries then I'm like, "Hey! zsljhlkemewoi is a cool name!"
