(never played Requiem before and I want to combine it with all of the survival mods + scarcity, for extra butthurt).

I would try one or the other at first, survival mods don't expect you to be running away from wolves and Requiem doesn't expect you to spend perk points into learning how to make better bonfires. It's not going to be OMG IMPOSSIBEL but you'll probably have to spend some time grinding resources in towns everytime you want to do something slightly dangerous.

Actually, Requiem isn't as much of a hardcore mod as many people think of it. You swim in shekels a few hours in (even with Scarcity x8) and its enemy types are forever stuck at the same levels.
I didn't swim in shekels a few hours in. Maybe because I bought the horse. After that, you spend money in skill points and save for the house. I'm now rich as Midas but I'm also level 33 or so. As for the enemies, as a sneaky caster wearing Savior's Hide, I still get killed easily if I'm careless. Sabre cat or a bear will kill me in two hits for example. The only non-dangerous enemy groups are the bandits and really, at my level, that's how it should be. But unless you wear heavy armour, you're always going to be instakilled by an unlucky crit from an arrow.

And with my mod setup, I'm lvl 52 and to this point could only afford 4-5 Adept spells and to train Alchemy from ~50 to ~65 with all the money I have. Money is both much less to be found in loot, loot is worth less and merchants have less.
Requiem's economy is a joke, no matter how you slice it.

Sneaky characters suck all the balls in Requiem. More at 11.
Playing Requiem as a 2H heavy-armored dudebro, I could clear bandit camps a lvl 3, killed Ron the Crow at lvl 4 without a scratch just by gulping a couple weak stamina potions and cleared Darkshade at lvl 5. Then I got my stuff enchanted and all mages could do to me was drain all my stamina, because Requiem's resistance mechanics are retarded and only protect health.
As a mage in Requiem, the only dangers I had left by level 30 were cheat enemies like invisible entities and multiple dragon priests.
Don't tell me about Requiem's difficulty, because there is none by design. Its only difficulties come from cheats and author's raging hardon for magic.

Uh, my lvl 3 2H-HA dude gets one-shotted by any bandit wielding a two hander. If I block it, I get staggered, so my only option is to face them 1-on-1 and dodge their attacks. So I guess you're a Godlike player and the problem isn't Requiem but the fact that you're just too skilled.

You don't block 2H attackers, you bash them when they start swinging, then power-attack to stagger them again. By which point, they'll either be dead or out of stamina and do very little damage to you.
Also, the AI is dumb and tries to swing for where it expects you to be when you're moving (aka lead their target) - so start running at them, back up when they start swinging, then get back in and hit/bash them when they inevitably miss.
Apart from trying to melee dragons (don't) and fighting mages with no elemental resistances, 2H-HA is second only to SnB-HA as the easiest to play in Requiem (and the most boring). All you ever need to care about is having stamina potions, which are easy to make, since ingredients for them are everywhere.

Requiem's bandits are basically hobos you cleanse in the name of the emperor kill for easy money from bounties. MLU's bandit leaders are tough enough to maybe actually survive in the wilds for more than 5 minutes.

Strange, because that's exactly what I'm playing atm (2h axe + HA), clearing bandit camps alone didn't happen consistently untill level 10-12, they tend to surround you and hit you in the back. Eg silent stream has 6-9 on the exterior, they all aggro you as soon as one of them sees you and it only takes a single warhammer/axe hit to be done for. And that's not taking into account arrows and small weapons.
Also after level 15 stamina ceased to be an issue due to magic items and perks and the number of times I had to drink potions flatlined. I'm not calling bullshit on what you're saying, since I do not know your mod setup, but what you're describing is quite far from "intended" requiem balance imho.

What can I say? You're just that bad.
As for stamina potions, go fight some ice mages and negromancers then tell me stamina wasn't an issue.

Cloud sword user detected. You're just playing a different game, boy. Also git gud stopped beying fun after the Dark Soul hype, you'll need at lest to talk numbers and shit if you want to be believed, as it stands you're either a liar or something in your mod set-up is altering parameters.

At 4th level you have 100-130 HP, how much HA skill do you have? 'Cause under 50 skill your armor only absorbs 25-50% of an attack, depending on the source of damage and arrows are still an issue. While after perking HA and becoming a werewolf my stamina is so high that any use of Ice magic is simply bound to kill me much faster than I'm out of stamina, but that's rarely an issue since I have 30% base MR + MR and Elemental Res. Potions, I can wade trough ice dragon breaths at level 28. Dragons still one-shot me in melee but obviously that's because I'm not as gud as you are...

Couldn't care less. Feel free to tell yourself that you don't suck as much as you like.

becoming a werewolf
There we go. Now your stamina shenanigans make more sense.

Ice magic is simply bound to kill me much faster than I'm out of stamina
Yep, that's bullshit. Get outta here.

I'm not as gud as you are
Obviously, but I'm not that gud, either. It's just Requiem not being deleveled/balanced very well. You haven't been playing it for long if you're having such a hard time accepting that.

 absolutely not!

And which shanennigans are you talking about? I 'm just saying sources of +stamina are so common your point is moot. If you handicap yourself by not using them please at least avoid bulshitting with your pet-houserules. Also to become a werewolf you need to clear that first burial mound with Vilkas, that's 16+ Draugr (shouting Draugr with IC) gangbanging you all together in the final room. Go do that at level 11 (I did) and post screenies please, I can't be the only one curious about your skills.

I'm not that gud, either.

I see we agree on something at least! And I'm still waiting for your tactics for consistently clearing bandit camps as a heavy armor two-hander. You said level 4, in case you had forgotten.

Edit: a little advice, if you want to know how to preserve stamina vs ice magic, just RTFM about elemental resistances. Expert my ass.

Let it go. We both know you're lying, and I see no reason to indulge you.

Yeah, I'll get right on that.
As a side note, I don't consider becoming a werewolf to be something every fighter must do to have an easy time in Requiem. And I only was one as part of Companion quest line - which I didn't care for and did late in my playthrough - and cured it once the option came up. Partly because I had a mod that forced transformation at certain moon phases (which seems like a right way to play a WW) and I got tired of it.

You said level 4, in case you had forgotten.
Level 3, thank you.
As for tactics: git gud. They can one-shot you, sure, but so can you them. Being 2H, you have better reach than 1H enemies, so use that (that's how I killed Ron the Crow - poor bastard couldn't even get close before staggering back); keep your distance from archers and/or keep strafing to fuck with their aim - in HA you can take a few hits; try to keep only one melee enemy - in front of you - and circle around to keep his buddies behind them; they don't start bunched up, so kill quickly to avoid being ganged up. It all seems like a no-brainer, don't know why you're having such a bad time.

 you're priceless! No, I'm actually calling you on your bullshit, you're the one herpaderping about "gittinggudder" without citing a single reference or stat. This is no twitch action game to be proud of, you man-child, this is fucking Skyrim and the amount of options you have at low level as a fighter is so limited I'd love to see you actually playing! In Requiem (that is, real Requiem, not your probably cheaty load order) at level 3 wearing heavy armor you're so slow that fighting alone vs 4-5 bandits is a suicide, you're telling me you clear camps with 9+

As for proofs and lying:

Let's do a little game. I'm currently level 25, how much stamina do you think I have just using LEGAL Requiem methods? I'll post a screnshot of my character and answer any question you have, since you know, I do have proofs of what I'm saying while you're just pulling shit out of your ass. I'm also at a certain point in the MQ where I'm bound to fight an Ice Dragon 100% I could even umiliate you further by mansplaining you how elemental and magic resistance work. Even if taking enough screen of said battle would be too much of an hassle, you're not funny enough for me to indulge and not smart enough to know how to discuss hard facts.

edit: sorry for spelling/grammar, posting from shitty phone

I played that 2H about 2 months ago, how much of the stats do you expect me to remember? Neither do I have Requiem installed anymore. You want to go full sperging retard - go ahead, you're clearly better at that than I am.

This is no twitch action game to be proud of
Is that what this is about? I said you're bad and now your butt can't stop hurting? Can't help you with either. I don't consider myself good and don't care to be considered good by dumbfucks like you, so of course I don't see the need to waste time.
The point of recalling my experience with Requiem was to compare it to a somewhat more challenging mod setup - but naturally that flew way over your head and right into your butt. "Someone cleared a bandit camp at level 3 when I can't! How dare he!" Fucking Christ, kids these days...

how to discuss hard facts.
BECAUSE THIS IS IMPORTANT SHIT, am I right? Sure, go ahead, I'm definitely curious how you resist stamina drain in Requiem, because I couldn't find anything in its manual, as I recall. You're the one who called me an expert, but I did no such thing, remember?

It is possible to go through content earlier than you're supposed to if you are gud/cheesy enough. There are people who completed Bleak Falls Barrow at level 1, either through trap abuse, Batman-style preparation with a different weapon for every enemy or sheer retard-who-doesn't-read-the-readme determination.

full sperging

I asked for one stat. On a RPG forum. Full sperging.

Is that what this is about? I said you're bad and now your butt can't stop hurting?

Nope, you said bullshit and I called you on it. You're the one telling me to git gud to clean bandit camps at level 3. I ask again, how do you avoid being surrounded? You run like an headless chicken untill they're all spread out? Use of the loverslab mod that makes them gang rape you after they beat you up doesn't count as "clearing" princess, even if you find it so fun!

to compare it to a somewhat more challenging mod setup

And yet you go on rambling about me and my skills, never said you cannot kill 9+ bandits by cheesing at level 3, doing it consistently through madskillz? Bullshit

IMPORTANT

No, it isn't, you're perfectly right here.

I'm definitely curious how you resist stamina drain in Requiem

Curiosity and humbleness should go hand in hand, try and be polite if you wish to learn from your betters!

You're the one who called me an expert, but I did no such thing, remember?

:retarded: and this is the point where I stop debating. You got me. You just move the goalpost and cherry pick bits of my post while ignoring everything else. Have fun!

Sure! Had he asked me "How could you kill 16+ draugr at level 11 to become a werewolf?" My answer would have been "teleport scroll" . He's bragging about how easy it is to kill bandits at level 3 and considers stamina an issue for warriors (after level 20+), my personal experience is totally different so I just asked him, in a civil manner... I think. Still that's too many words wasted on a topic such as this. I apologize for the spam and won't be discussing it any more.

If you had anything to say, I wouldn't need to. But so far, you've done nothing but throw some childish insults my way and generally behave like a brat on the verge of meltdown, "call bullshit" on a personal skill that I'm supposed to somehow prove for no reason, and run away as soon as I accept your offer to share your eldritch knowledge of an actual mechanic. So yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a definition of a kid.

I apologize for the spam and won't be discussing it any more.
Bye, I guess.

Are there any decent (and preferably complete) content overhaul mods, like the Civil War one? I remember there being a couple that tried to expand and add options to the guild quest lines but, like most ambitious mods of that sort, they never really got anywhere.

Do not upgrade your Nexus Mod Manager if you're still in the middle of a playthrough. I did and it fucked everything up.
Yeah, doesn't the Mod Manager de-activate EVERY mod you have, thus making your entire game vanilla and fucking it up? Whoever added that into NMM is a fucking 'genius'.

Yeah that's exactly what it does as it wants to compete with Mod Organizer and run "virtual profiles" instead. Which will probably work fine if you start from scratch but with 200 mods... and naturally it crashed in the middle of it as well.
