Jesus why does Requiem add all these fucking ugly armors, and then fucking drop development of a removal .esp?!
HAHAHHA! That sounds hilarious. I was having trouble with those hell dogs or whatever they're called. Things are fast as hell, and you don't typically see them coming.Just don't mistake a werewolf with a troll. Both come out at night and in darkness (especially if you have a mod that makes nights actually dark) they kinda look the same. Except werewolves hit harder and are damn fast. I've once made the mistake of "oh I'll just kite that troll and burn it" without realizing it was a werewolf and no matter how I tried to run away, it always caught up to me. Had to revert to an older save.
Checking in in this thread again to report that I finally did it... I un-installed the game.
I procrastinated this moment for quite a while, but it was inevitable.
I think I've started the game too many times with different mods combinations, and in the "final" run I had no more steam to follow the thing to its conclusion.
Also the last Unofficial Patch broke ASIS, couldn't find a solution, and I got the urge to get rid of everything.
Kind of irrational, I spent lots of time with it, and it was fun while it lasted, but I hate the fragmentation that creates having lots of unfinished games sitting there on my drive - and on my mind.
Well, a moment of silence for the piles of hours obliterated by this quick, sudden gesture.
I'm too old to keep going after this stuff.
I had 7 gigs of mods FFS.
I need to run a tighter ship here.
Wait so it took less than ten hours to beat the game first time around? Because boy, that's a hell of a reason to mod it.Of course I'm only on my second playthrough and I've barely sunk 10 hours in the game so far.
I cannot fathom anyone playing it unmodded. But I won't bother with an essay on why Skyrim is an awful game out of the box and needs heavy modding, others have done it multiple times and more eloquently than I can.

Yeah, I played it unmodded. I'm a bit of a naturalist. I really hate to mod games. Often, mods just add stupid, unusual shit to the game that really adds nothing. I played unmodded Skyrim for maybe 10 hours until I straight up quit. The last quest I was on, I think, was the one where you have to save the tree at Whiterun. I just couldn't do it. Too easy, too boring. So am I the only one here who is playing Skyrim completely unmodded and enjoying it as it is?

I'm trying out Vilja now and her voice is awful. I'm probably going to kill her soon just so get rid of that annoyance.
The Unofficial Patches have finally merged for the Legendary Edition, so now there's just USLEEP, the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition patch. The DLC-specific patches are no longer supported. Luckily the team do realize that lot of finished mods, that require one of the unofficial patches as a master, will never be updated (or in a long time), so they have made instructions and a tool on how to manually change that yourself for mods.
Frostfall v3 works well and isn't as script heavy as the old version, so two thumbs up there.

Anyway, it seems to me that this Immersive Naked Comments is definitely a must-have ! I couldn't imagine playing without it !
Considering Requiem's Alteration provides a very strong armor spell, it should be possible to play a naked character, true Nord style. Hm...Immersive questing

What does this stupid buzzword even mean ? It seems like modders don't simply want to use the adjective "better" anymore. If it had been trendy when Morrowind came out, we'd have had mods like Immersive Bodies and Immersive Clothes.

Last time I checked Enhanced Camera was far superior.(Actually you'd see only your toon's ass in 3rd person, you'd have to use one of those 1st person camera mods. Hm...)
