i thought it was codex approved mod :smug:
And RTFM is a codex approved practice.
:smug:
Problem?
nope:thumbsup:
Getting your weak ass pwned and completely handed to you Dark Souls-style is the highlight of modded Bethesda games TBH.

i found ds challenging and engaging. skyrim with requiem was cumbersome and hard to the point of silliness. but lets people play the way they like, thats the point of those fucking mods right?:?

It handles the memory usage better. And without it if you reach 3.1 Gb memory usage (heavily modded game) the game crashes, this fixes it. It works.
How does it "handle memory usage better" exactly? Because you know, there's been a large address aware fix around for Skyrim forever that also fixed memory use issues. But I guess this one is better because... what, it's "optimized"? Because it has the ENB stamp on it?
I assume it sets the exe flag while not using scary words like "large address aware".

"Large address aware" was fixed in an official patch a long time ago anyway. Skyrim 1.3.1 PC Patch Fixes 4GB Large Address Aware Issues

You can ask the mod author if you really want to know what his "memory fix" is exactly here:

If only Skyrim combat would be that much enjoyable as it where in DS, for me Skyrim combat mechanics are just to clunky

I typed "horse vagina" into search, but nothing came up.

So in case it hasn't been posted

This means there generally won't be any sort of weird difficulty funnel centered around Whiterun, although there are some hand-placed difficulty spikes that partially gate areas (Valtheim Towers, for instance).
Is 15 high level then? Because that's when I started taking out those things with ease and started swimming in money. Only hard fight I had to cheese (I was trying to hit and run with runes, though they glitched out of existance first, which is fine for me) was a bunch of "invisible entity" (which seems to have been added by Requiem) and only because the load barriers force me right next to them.

Depends on your build and what you're taking on.
You should start feeling the power around this spot, but ordinary bandits are just lowlifes.

I went pure mage (though lockpick and speech gave me a few levels). I die horribly if anything gets near me, but everything else quickly dies if I don't get an arrow in me first (except dragons, who slowly die due to being huge bags of HP).

I found a Master Robe pretty early on via Morrowloot, so that may have contributed to my power.

Very well, I'm going to fucking die in Requiem. You convinced another one, missionary DraQ.

EDIT:

Any recommended mods that synergize well with Requiem? Things like Morrowloot that I was afraid of using because of SkyRE.

I use Heavy Armory (before Requiem), Mighty Dragons (after Requiem), cloaks of skyrim, winter is coming (more cloaks, both mods before Requiem) and Morrowloot (after Requiem).
Other than that it's mostly minor cosmetic mods.

Requiem is pretty much all-encompassing and adds a lot of stuff on its own. For example, it adds shitload of powerful and flavourful spells available on higher levels.

Oh, better quest objectives (some context and information in your sorry-ass journal), SkyUI (duh), and immersive HUD (compass/radar disabler) are must-haves regardless of your gameplay mods.

This sort of thing was what I was looking for, thanks!

What's the load order for better quest objectives? I have both it and the compatibility patches after Requiem, but all I get is a bi-cardinal direction.

It appears Skyrim Nexus is fucked. I've been trying to download Requiem since Friday and either the site doesn't load or the download just randomly tanks/corrupts. Anyone know of an alternative place to download Requiem?

Nexus is having problems due to them having shit servers and the influx of dumb fuck kids wanting to play their hiking sims with the up to date schlong mods.
