Why can't we buy a cart to store our loot? Man, Daggerfall was ahead of its time.:( I can just imagine dovakhiin pulling the cart around or fusrodahing it.

Like I said, Requiem gives you ability to load a lot of stuff on your horse.
A cart would probably be rather amusing with Skyrim's hoers physics.

Hardly ever need potions, they should have some sort of animation or cooldown tho, but full heal ones kinda trivialize that as well. God, you just gave me an idea.
Im going to try requiem and that one, when i get some free time, next year most likely.
Requiem already adds mark and recall, as well as LoS teleport.

Requiem also makes all, but instaheal potions (rare!) work over time and I don't think they stack.
Since requiem also eliminates all health regen - including health restoring while resting - unless caused by spell, power, potion or enchantment you will actually use a lot of potions and run out of them often. You'll likely often prefer to just lie down to sleep in a freshly cleared bandit camp while nomming on some healing plant rather than waste valuable potions.

As for prolonged adventuring, you just pick up stuff that's worth your time - gems, good enchanted items, high-grade stuff, potions you need or can sell for a nice profit.

I don't believe any number of change to a TES game will remove all exploits and not introduce new ones. There is certainly some way to break Requiem too.
The thing is that Requiem doesn't try to be balanced. You break Requiem while it tries to break you.
It works much better than trying to find some arbitrary balance while building an open world game.

For example when you're shot at by around 10 or 20 bandits with bows and don't happen to wear heavy armour and good shield you don't really have much hope to beat them fair and square. In such circumstances you try to come up with whatever works, and thus even breaking the game is challenging and satisfying.

At high levels you can become powerful but it feels pretty good and doesn't come from being functionally immortal.

Why not just spam heal spell?
Because you first need heal spell and ability to cast it.

That Redguard game is not half bad.

 It's Disney's take on the Elder Scroll.
I'm confused what they were aiming for. But you see Todd Howard as the Producer so yeah, welcome to Stros M'kai, buddy. Enjoy the ride.
Funny you say that. Along with Morrowind, it's the most alien TES game ever, almost fully written by Kirkbride. It was the game that turned the old TES universe, mostly inspired by D&D and Tolkien, into the alien and original TES we saw in Morrowind and Skyrim.
Along with Morrowind it's the more distant thing of a "Disney's take", if anything the holder of this tittle is Oblivion.

But I thought Oblivion was Fisher-Price's take on TES?

I say that because Cyrodiil in Oblivion feels like Disneyland, with a world without struggles and conflict, cities that feel like themeparks and citizens that are perfectly happy (even with gates to oblivion opening right next to their doors). A shitty, happy, colorful ride into a half-assed D&D themepark.

You probably don't want two overhauls on top of one another, anyway. It becomes a clusterfuck of conflicting approaches and you don't know what's overwriting what. The FCOM "big mod" for Oblivion had a relatively complicated installation process, just to ensure the three overhauls played nice together.

Will this Mod unbalance the game somewhat?

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3198//?

AUTO PERK
-------------

-Automatically adds perks once a player reaches requisite level in a particular skill.
-This means levelling eg destruction to level 100 gives you all destruction perks. So it is possible to have all perks in the game just by skilling up.
-Removes perk points obtained by normal levelling since no longer needed (optional).
-Player receives text notifications during play when new perks are unlocked.
-When first loaded, will likely result in many low-level perk unlocks (when using default configuration).

I like this idea. I always find it strange that I actually have an easier time earning a perk point if I just do up those low level skills instead of pushing on those hard-to-raise points.

Crafted large bandolier. +100 is a bit much. And it makes me look fat.

:codexisfor:I'll make a smaller one.

No Death Mod

Your character gets knocked out instead of dying. You will lose your items. They can be reclaimed through a side quest. Configurable.
Unless you're playing ironman, this makes the game both harder and more interesting. "Death" actually has meaning now and not just "lol reload". Immurshun!

Sorry. Already beaten by SexLab, you get stripped naked upon defeat, they'll rape you, then whip you into submission. Then put you in chains.
You must escape your master and kill him to get back your gear.
Further complicated if your master is a vampire.

I will dig for some that I use...there are some nice ones..but for now, since i am lazy..here is a nice house that I made on one of the lakes.... funny there were NO lake side fishing lodges so now there is :) enjoy....

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12714/?

Nice house without even the basic stockade, would be looted in hours by Dragonborn Bandits; :troll: I am surprised how good and close in style to Morrowind forts Fort Downguard looks :incline: and how they make Fort Frostmouth into Oblivion-like heap of stones. :decline:

So when Bethesda finally manned up enough to force you to choose how you build your character you want to turn it off with a mod.
:hmmm:

At hard with Requiem it looks potentially interesting (although not sure if I'd want to play full ironman this way because in many cases requiem kills your ass without doing much HP whittling).

Should be altered to only trigger when fighting bandits and such - doesn't make sense when in draugr infested ruin, or even worse, fighting a dragon along with half of the city guard.

Ok so i'm planning to replay Skyrim and Requiem mod intrigues me, now the question is are there any must-have mods to go with that? And i do mean must have as in the game is not worth playing without them.

SkyUI. It vastly improves the interface, and also provides a Mod Configuration Menu for some mods (including Requiem).

Ultimate Followers Overhaul, or one of the other follower overhauls. Followers will now level up with you, instead of remaining at the level they were when you met them. You can set them to essential if you want, and ask them to show you their stats. It does some other stuff too, but those are the most important.

HELP!
A question about the Requiem mod: Should I leave the immortal essential NPCs box unchecked? I haven't tinkered with the mod settings so far, so it's almost all as default (except for the changing armor in combat, because I'm pervy and like to have my necromancer run around naked sometimes). The description states that some NPCs still remain immortal. The problem is, while I don't mind if a quest gets locked, because some idiot NPC got eaten by the local wilderness (just saw a horse majestically flying by, probably got thrown off the nearby mountain), I'd like to finish the main plot of the game.
