This is made by a guy who runs a history channel on youtube (Armchair Historian). He made another game before that, turn based strategy in the Victorian era, which got middling reviews because it made a lot of mistakes and he didn't really know what direction to take the game into.

The DLC expansions were better reviewed and sounded like all around improvements.

Heroes of Might & Magic was already taken so they gotta go with Heroes of Plight & Tragic

There is playable demo, the game reminded me of that one popular Warcraft 3 auto battler mod somewhat.
