BG3 is actually fun in spite of all the faggots. It also corrects the eldritch abomination that is RtWP being automatically associated to TTRPG adaptations/cRPGs in general in the mind of normies. DoS1/2 already started it but a high profile DnD game being TB will hopefully be the last nail on the RTwP coffin.

Agreed. I dislike the current day stuff in BG3, I dislike most of the companions. But there were a lot of cool moments - a lot of reactivity to my player class, or things like blowing my cover in the goblin camp and suddenly finding myself in a Mines of Moria scenario, defending a small room against a Goblin horde. Ketheric Thorm was a good antagonist. My enthusiasm went away after the conclusion of that act and I dropped the game for now, but I'll probably pick it up again when the game is sufficiently patched and modded (Baldur's Better Aesthetics was a good start and as far as I know he isn't done with it yet).

I had planned to give Starfield a try, but everything I've seen about this game so far put me off.

Honestly these two games might be what gets me to quit gaming. I didn't think this would ever happen to me, but it is just such a bad experience to get home, have like 2 hours to play a game, and to have most of that time taken up by stultifying woke dialogue or loading screens. I already quit movies and TV shows a couple decades ago and have not missed either of them.

I am sort of proud of this but on balance more secretly jealous of everyone who can ignore it because BG3 in particular sounds interesting. If you had told me in 2000 that bg3 would be basically a gay porn game I would never have believed you. If you had told me after that nearly 20 years after Oblivion we'd have a sequel with basically no NPC AI and shopkeepers who never move or sleep and don't actually have anything in their shops (which is super immersion breaking), and the NPCS are still hideous, I would never have believed you. You are 100% right and I'm jealous of people who can do this since my attitude about it is not going to make a bit of difference. I think my breaking point was probably uglier Aloy in HZD 2. The first game was a bit woke anyway, but with #2 enough is enough.

BG3 is typical over sexed degeneracy mixed with a mediocre game. Yes, there's plenty of wokeness but Starfield is literally a future where white people don't exist and everyone is hideous/of color/non-binary. Its the SJW's wet dream.
