Stalin removed a lot of Jews from the upper echelon in the purges and was in the midst of directed anti-Jewish purge when he died (coincidence?). After his death USSR continued the politic of "soft" systemic antisemitism. So, it's fairly safe to say that post-1953 USSR was mostly free from Jewish influence, if not actively combating it.
