Anyone who wears their religion or lack thereof on their shoes like this is a dumbfuck.
Atheist Shoemaker said:
We think a shoe is a lovely, understated way for atheists to out themselves and to be less shy about their godlessness.
Funny, because it's not understated, and the type of atheist who would buy this could probably stand to be more shy about their godlessness. Just more people trying to force their religious beliefs in my face.

wow people are pulling pledges cause of no demo serously? getting demos ready distracts from producing the game for starters. and the devs will talk about game play more when thay have somthing nailed down. Better to have solid information than running the risk of showing somthing thay might not be able to implament

People need to manage there expectations alitle more I think. Development is fluid give the team some time and faith.

The idea that it's somehow super evil and mean not to throw your money at people you don't know based on faith alone is amusing. Yet another example of how easy it is to separate people from their money (or anything else you want), just by saying some nice sounding words and feeding their desperate need to feel like they're part of something, or actually matter.

How is this relevant to Kickstarter?

Three years ago we set out on a quest to design the platformer to end all platformers. We started off by constructing an artificial intelligence capable of designing levels on demand, suitable for any difficulty level and built to any specification. The construction was an arduous task. We had to teach the AI everything we knew about level design: flow, spacing, rhythm, player expectation. Then we had to guarantee that everything the AI constructed was possible to beat and suitable for the right skill level.

We wanted the AI to be able to make levels for all players, from the casual to the most gosu hardcore, so that everyone could have access to the infinite bounty. Flash forward 3 years and we've finally finished training the AI to do our bidding.

Would you support kickstarters of SiN, Heretic or Hexen?

Well, shooters shouldn't have problems getting publishers, no? Well, unless they don't want checkpoints, health-regen and cover systems. Then I guess I would consider supporting them.

Original games were great but their sequels...
First and hopefully last SiN Episodes #1 was total crap, so NO I dont want new SiN, Heretic II was ok and then Hexen II, probably the best from those games. But now Raven is somehow involved in making another instalment in Modern Warfare so HELL NO.
Maybe Shadow Warrior 2 or Blood 3? In case of SW it probably would be crap after new Duke.

I would like to see something similar to Terminal Velocity.

EDIT
Give me anything in the spirit of Bullfrog, Origin or Westwood.
I would kill for proper new Syndicate or Crusader.

If you want to get money on Kickstarter make a jRPG, this one despite the premises is just fight monsters named after office related activities.

We'll see.
Seems interesting, lol at using kids to secure funds,

Another RPGMaker game, well, if the game is good graphics shouldn't count.

All that people and only 5K$ to make the game?
Suuuuure.
In orange just to be fair.

Seems that they learned by the 1$ set goal, money grab.

Let' see, western version of OneeChanbara, concept art with pigtailed girl showing panties, he openly says that asked 20K$ just to secure the funds because in reality he needs 100K$, plus the 'free' copy for 50$, in the brown.

PS:
Put Hiver in ignore, I know that he will appreciate this.

Edit:
Another collector edition of an already published game:

Canceled.

Another 900K$ project:

Canceled.

A genial idea, manual downloading of web pages:

They will probably get that, especially since Rock Paper Shotgun wrote an article about them today.

Looks pretty certain to be funded at this point. Morons. I can only hope that an actual decent project benefits from this blind altruism at some point.

I'm gonna laugh so hard if they fail to reach the goal with less than 6000.

Cool stuff, over $1,000,000 in fees for the Pebble guys. Congrats to Kickstarter and Amazon on their hard work worth $500,000 each.
